Standout Fall performances have reshaped the landscape, as players continue to build their résumés and make their case among the state’s best. With Spring just around the corner, this update sets the stage for what should be an exciting stretch of baseball for this talented group of seniors.

As always, our evaluation process is fluid and ongoing, built on multiple viewings and discussions to get the most accurate feel for each player’s abilities. It’s worth noting that while some players show rapid improvement, this doesn’t suggest that others have regressed—player development is simply a journey with peaks and valleys. As the season unfolds, new names will continue to surface, expanding the universe of top prospects in Nevada. In addition to our player evaluations, our scouts—both in-state and nationally—have been in constant dialogue, comparing notes and making adjustments based on the latest insights to ensure the rankings are as up-to-date and accurate as possible.

The wire to wire #1 ranked prospects in Nevada's 2026 Class, Shepard has continued to see his game trend with the spotlight brightly on him over the past 3+ years. The game is real, speed, power and IQ all make him not only the top prospect in Nevada but one of the top prospects in the country that we expect to hear his name get called ealry in the 2026 MLB Draft.
2 Andruw Giles Basic Academy OF/LHP Oregon

Giles is another player whose game has continue to ascend throuhgout his High School career, helping leading Basic Academy to a State Championship in May, followed by a massive Summer campaign with CBA. The tools are there, the IQ is there and the desire to win makes the Oregon Signee a player that people dont want, but need, in their programs and organizations. Expect Giles to continue up draft boards over the next few months.
3 Matthew Kelley Basic Academy IF/RHP Texas A&M

With athleticism at a premium in today's game of power and speed, Kelley fits the bill with elite level tools that were on full display at the 2025 Prep Baseball ProCase. Their is a lot to like about Kelley's game as he still has room to add strength, only projecting to amplify each part his game and we expect the Texas A&M Signee to find his name high on draft boards as well.
4 Keenan Dolan Bishop Manogue RHP/UT South Carolina

The Bishop Manogue product has seen his game steadily trend over each of the past three years with an excellent understanding of his mechanics and pitch shape. Dolan comes of another successful Summer/Fall campaign that has him tee'd up for another big Spring for the Miners and you can expect this senior to continue working his name up draft boards as the Spring heats up.
5 Troy Southisene Basic Academy OF/IF Oregon State

The definition of a "gamer", Southisene know his game, has feel for the barrel, played with a high IQ, but most importantly, he knows how to compete. The last of the Southisene Army, the future Beaver gets the absolute most out of his frame and athletic ability to do whatever it takes to win and we expect him to be an early impact type player for Oregon State after he tried to run it back with the Wolves this Spring.
6 Kingston Kela Faith Lutheran IF TCU

Kela is another player that we continued to see trend each year and this year is projected to be no different with added strength to his frame and an even more advanced feel for his game on both sides of the ball. With Big League bloodlines in the family, he has the blueprint for how to get it done, but first, he has a senior Spring with a loaded Faith Lutheran group that will be among the favorite to raises the State Title trophy in May.
7 Giovanni Guariglia Silverado RHP TCU

The future Horned Frog has an electric arm that we expect to draw draft attention from MLB teams this coming Spring. With his fastball routinely running up into the mid-90's with life, he already possesses an elite pitch, but adds to it with another pitch that isn't far behind with his curveball that spins up to 2800+ with the ability to land it for strikes. Keep an eye on this Silverado / GBG Vegas product that could continue to make his way up draft boards this coming Spring.
8 Colton Christman Arbor View LHP LSU

The left-handed pitcher is always at a premium and Christman has continue to prove he has what it takes to flourish on the mound at the next level. The ability to deliver each of his pitches from different arms slots shows off his exceptional athleticism and we feel like he is still just starting to scratch the surface of what is to come. We expect the Arbor View product to continue trending this Spring and this could be a player that makes an early splash for the Tigers in 2027.
9 Lyndon Lee Basic Academy IF Arizona

Arguably, no one's stock has risen more over the past few months than Lyndon Lee, culminating in his commitment and signing with the University of Arizona. In a time of big numbers, speed and velocities, the need for gritty players is more important than ever and Lee provides that at an elite level. A player that never leaves the field with a clean uniform, he is a player that will do whatever it takes to win a baseball game and you can expect it to be on full display this coming Spring as he looks to help lead Basic to back-to-back State Championships.
10 Jack Stoner Bishop Gorman RHP East Carolina

Our newest addition to the Top 10, Stoner is a player who has quietly seen his game take step after step to become one of the top arms in the state with four pitches he can throw for strikes to go with his fastball that ran up to 93.0 mph multiple times at the Summerlin Guardians Scout Day. Now starting to see his strength gains shine through, when he toes the rubber this coming Spring, do not be surprised if he runs it up into the mid-90's as he helps lead a talented Gorman pitching staff.
