Prospects Hold Strong At The Top
After moving to the top spot in our last rankings update, Thurston RHP Grady Saunders stays ranked #1 for our second consecutive update. Saunders was electric in a high school look this spring before pitching even better at Area Codes this summer. Prep Baseball's VP of Scouting Shooter Hunt saw the Oregon State commit sit 93-95 MPH, moving his fastball to both sides of the plate with aggression early in counts. Saunders also features a slider at 79-82 MPH and a firm CH at 85 MPH. The Thurston arm was seen by Prep Baseball scouts again at PNW Scout Games, once again showing his starting pitcher potential with plenty of upside to dream on. Saunders will enter his senior spring as a draft-upside arm with the ability to carry his team deep into the OSAA playoffs.

Also holding their spots in the top ten, C Teagan Scott and INF Sawyer Nelson continue as high-end talents in the class. Both products of South Salem High School, Scott and Nelson form one of the most formidable top of the order duo's in the PNW, with legitimate draft upside shown at times from both players. Nelson, a Future Games alum, will have a chance to further elevate his stock at Prep Baseball's Super 60 Pro Showcase in Illinois this February.
Fall Standouts and Uncommitted Players to Know
Several Oregon 2026's put together strong looks this Fall and remain on the board heading into their senior springs. Lincoln RHP/OF Graeme Warner-McGee continued a series of great showings at the West Coast Games this October and remains the top ranked uncommitted player remaining. The righty was up to 89 MPH with a high spin fastball and mixed in a 2600 RPM slider at 76-78 MPH. The 6'3 athlete is also a 6.87 runner and posted exit velocities up to 101.7 MPH. The talented senior leads or is near the top of several metric leaderboards across all Prep Baseball Oregon showcase events this year.
McMinnville OF Cameron Hyder was another standout performer in the Fall who remains a high-end uncommitted talent. Hyder set several new personal bests at the West Coast games, including a 6.76 60-yard dash time and exit velocities up to 99.2 MPH. He then went 3-5 across three games of gameplay with a walk and 3 extra base hits, using the whole field with authority. Both Warner-McGee and Hyder are D-1 type talents who should be on recruiter's radars heading into 2026.

Outfielder Cooper Berta picked up a Linfield commitment after a quality showing at the West Coast Games. The compact-framed righthanded delivered consistent BP rounds, peaking with a 93.6 MPH exit velocity while averaging 87.8 MPH. A 7.01 runner, Berta's solid overall game was on display in Los Angeles, building off of two previous looks in the summer. Berta also hopped on the mound and worked his fastball up to 83 MPH, though he will likely stick in the outfield at the next level.
Working down the rankings list, South Medford INF Brad Love is a player we're bullish on as an uncommitted senior, coming in at number 31 in this rankings edition. The 6'3 prospect features plus batspeed from the right side and was on the barrel at last winter's Preseason All-State. Love has enough arm strength to stick on the left side of the dirt with longer levers that move well defensively.
Another uncommitted senior, Clackamas arm Jackson Faris flashed on the mound during a recent look at the PNW Fall Games. The 6'4 righty showed some pitchability and command to all quadrants of the strike zone. The high-slot release plays well with his larger frame and creates some heavy downward tilt on the FB, paired well with a loopier 12/6 curveball. Faris joins what is arguably the best and deepest high school pitching staff in the state heading into 2026, and makes his rankings debut in this latest update.
