Most Viewed Profiles (2025): #23 Cole Albert

As we head into the last couple of weeks of the calendar year, we want to highlight the most viewed profiles of 2025. Today, we continue our countdown with the #23 spot, which belongs to sophomore Cole Albert of Vermilion Catholic High School.
The former Junior Future Gamer had a sensational freshman campaign last spring, as he led the Eagles to their first baseball state title in school history.
Albert was named the Most Valuable Player of the LHSAA Division IV Select State Tournament and also earned our Newcomer of the Year award for 2025, after posting an 8-1 record and 0.90 ERA with 60 strikeouts across 70.2 innings pitched last season.

Cole Albert, Vermillion Catholic (LA), 2028
Positional Profile: 3B/RHP
Body: 6-1, 138-pounds. Long and lean.
Delivery: Starts in the middle of the rubber and stays there throughout a quicker and repeatable delivery, rocks back into back hip at balance point, drives off the mound and finishes off to the 1B side some.
Arm Action: RH. Long and loose arm stroke with a 3/4-low 3/4 delivery.
FB: T72, 71-72 mph. Some arm-side run, can command to both sides of the plate. T1753, 1660 average rpm.
CB: 61-61 mph. "11-5" shape, can land for strikes T1573, 1573 average rpm.
SL: 62-62 mph. Sweeper, breaks laterally with some depth. T1687, 1687 average rpm.
CH: 63-63 mph. Really good feel for CH with late fade, can land for strikes to both RHH and LHH. T1205, 1205 average rpm.
ATH: 8.75 runner in the 60.
