Newcomers 

Aidan Whildin OF / Kaneland, IL / 2026

From 10/5/25:OF Aidan Whildin (Kaneland, 2026) is a physical left-handed hitter that is listed with a 6-foot, 170-pound frame. The outfielder posted a 6.86 60-yd time and an 81 mph OF velocity during the first part of the showcase. The left-handed hitter operates from a balanced base with a small leg lift. A pure swing with a slight uphill bat path and pull-side power. Whildin posted an average exit velocity of 95.3 mph with a max EV of 98.4 mph and max distance of 306 feet. Whildin looks to be a name to keep an eye on the 2026 class.”

 

Cooper Chapple RHP / SS / Waubonsie Valley, IL / 2026

From 6/10/25: RHP Cooper Chapple (Waubonsie Valley, 2026) came to his first Prep Baseball event and showed very well. The right-hander lean, wiry 6-foot-3, 160-pounder sat 84-85 mph with a spin efficiency of 96%. His changeup sat 69-71 mph with an average HM of 15.2 inches. Chapple’s curveball shows a lot of potential as it sits 65-68 mph with an average spin rate of 2339 RPM and an average HM of -18.8 inches while having an average IVB of -12.7 inches.”

Hayden Noha C / 3B / Oak Forest, IL / 2026

“Noha cracks the rankings at No. 177 after a strong showing this past summer. He’s 6-foot-2, 170-pounds with present athleticism, and he’s also a basketball standout. He moves well down the mound with a fastball up to 86 mph, though we’ve heard recent rumblings of the fastball getting north of 90 mph. The ceiling is high with Noha and we expect him to continue to make strides.”

 

Ryszard Gewont C / OF / Montini Catholic, IL / 2026

Body: 6-2, 225 pounds. Sturdy frame.
Hit: RHH. Open stance, quiet load, longer stride. Strong hands, flat path, hands stay on top of the ball, middle/pull-side approach, hard line drive contact. 71.5 mph bat speed with 19g of rotational acceleration.
Power: 94 mph max exit velocity (85.1 avg.); 290-foot max batted distance.
Arm: RH. C - 72 mph. Loose arm action, 3/4 slot.
Defense: 2.25-2.37 pop time range; Stays low with athleticism, quick into throwing position.
Athletic Testing: 7.46 runner in the 60-yard dash; 22.00-inch max vertical jump.

Nicolas Pisciotta OF / 3B / Wheaton North, IL / 2026

Positional Profile: OF
Body: 6-0, 180-pounds. Developing overall strength.
Hit: RHH. Quiet, balanced setup, minimal pre-pitch movement. Balanced swing, works on top of the baseball, middle of the field and pull-side approach, some feel to lift at times. 70.5 mph bat speed with 19g of rotational acceleration.
Power: 101 mph max exit velocity (88.2 avg.).
Arm: RH. OF - 87 mph. Long arm action, high 3/4 slot.
Defense: Plays with pace and long clean strides. Intent and gains ground through release.
Athletic Testing: 7.21 runner in the 60-yard dash; 25.40-inch max vertical jump.

Luka Stojakovic C / OF / Maine South, IL / 2026

From 2/13/25: C Luka Stojakovic (Maine South, 2026) had a strong all-around day. The right-handed hitter took a clean round of BP where he favored his pull-side throughout with easy effort, reaching up to 95 mph for his peak EV (T348’). Behind the plate, he showed a quick/clean transfer while working in-line from the crouch, reaching a low as 1.98 for his pop-time (T74 mph). Quality receiver of the baseball, soft hands, moves well laterally, active/willing blocker that deadens the ball out front. 7.05 runner in the 60.”

Jonathan Tschanz / RHP / St. Viator, IL / 2026

From 10/5/25: INF Jonathan Tschanz (St. Viator, 2026) had one of the top all around performances of the workout. The infielder is listed with an athletic 5-foot-11, 165-pound frame. The right-handed hitter has an upright stance with a small leg lift. Tschanz had an average batted ball distance of 212 feet with a max of 352 feet. He had a max exit velocity of 95.9 mph with a max bat speed of 74.9 mph. Defensively, Tschanz had an infield velocity of 86 mph and also ran a 6.86 60-yd dash.”  

Aiden Robles RHP / OF / Yorkville, IL / 2026

From 10/5/25: RHP Aiden Robles (Yorkville, 2026) is a name that continues to perform at a high level during our events. He is listed with an athletic 6-foot-1, 165-pound frame with room to add strength. The right-hander operates from a simple delivery with a high leg lift while having a drop/drive approach. Long, quick arm action from a ¾ arm slot. His fastball sat 84-86 mph with an average spin rate of 2639 RPM, maxing out at 2753 RPM. His changeup sat 73-77 mph with sinking action. He rounded out his three-pitch mix with a curveball that sat 67-69 mph with depth. The pitch had an average horizontal movement of -16.1 inches and maxed out at -20.5 inches.”

Will Renshaw LHP / Barrington High School, IL / 2026

From 7/1/25: LHP Will Renshaw (Barrington, 2026) impressed in Carol Stream for his first ever Prep Baseball event. 6-foot-3, 187-pound frame with room to add strength. The left-hander’s fastball sat 82-85 mph while being at the top of the leaderboard for max fastball velocity (85.6 mph). Renshaw also showed a curveball that sat 64-66 mph with a sharp 11/5 shape that had an average horizontal movement of 13.7 inches (14.9 inches max). His changeup sat 71-72 mph with heavy fade, average horizontal movement -15.1 inches.”

Max Steele OF / LHP / Naperville North, IL / 2026

"Steele is a loose, athletic left-handed hitter that showed well on the national circuit this past summer. There’s more to come physically in his frame with room to fill out, and his present bat-to-ball skills make him a threat at the plate. He is also a quality runner on the bases that is quick out of the box."

Alexi Phillips C / 3B / DePaul College Prep, IL / 2026

From 8/5/25: C Alexi Phillips (DePaul College Prep, 2026) showed well in all aspects of the event. Athletic 6-foot, 160-pound frame. The right-handed hitter operates from a wide base with a long stride. Phillips has a compact swing that is quick through the zone. The catcher posted a pop time of 1.90-2.03 while having a catcher velo of 79 mph.”

Gavin Fuscone RHP / 1B / St. Charles East, IL / 2026

From 6/10/25: RHP Gavin Fuscone (St. Charles East, 2026) is a projectable, long-levered 6-foot-5, 184-pound prospect to follow. His fastball sits 86-87 mph with a max spin rate of 2417 RPM while averaging out at 2263. Slider had a ton of movement as it had a max HM of -22.3 inches and averaged out at -18.3 inches while sitting 72-76 mph. Fuscone’s changeup sat 75-77 mph with an average spin rate of 1622 RPM.”

Landyn Corbin RHP / OF / Normal Community, IL / 2026

From 6/19/25: Uncommitted. Athletic 5-foot-8, 146-pound frame with room to add strength. Came out of the pen in relief. Corbin gave a strong showing on Saturday as he struck out one batter through an inning and a third while not allowing a hit, a run, or a walk. The right-hander operates from a simple, uptempo delivery with high leg lift with tuck into tall/fall approach. Clean, short, quick arm action from a high ¾ slot. His fastball sat 83-84 with straight actions. Mixed in a low-70s curveball with sharp, late actions and having a spin rate of 2550 RPM. Interesting 2026 uncommitted arm to keep an eye on heading into the summer.”

Caden Riley LHP / 1B / Galesburg, IL / 2026

From 6/17/25: RHP Caden Riley (Galesburg, 2026) stands in a hard-to-miss 6-foot-4, 202-pound frame. On the mound, Riley is an easy and simple mover on the mound with minimal effort. His fastball sat 81-83 mph, topping out at 84 mph with slight arm-side action. He turned to a 69-70 mph curveball that played low in the zone with depth, averaging 2328 rpm, and a change-up at 73-74 mph with an average of -11.3 inches of horizontal movement. Riley is an uncommitted follow in Illinois’ junior class.”

August Burr SS / OF / St. Bede Academy, IL / 2026

From 6/17/25: INF August Burr (St. Bede, 2026) is an uncommitted R/R prospect to follow from the event. He started his day by running a 6.96 60, then followed that up with a loud round of batting practice. A lean, 5-foot-9, 165-pound frame with present strength, he showed a gap-to-gap approach with a flat path, while showing barrel strength to the pull-side at times. Burr led the event in average EV (89 mph), while topping out at 96 mph. He also led the event in max distance (366 feet). He rounded out his day with a quality showing on the infield, playing with advanced footwork and confident actions, while topping out at 81 mph from across the diamond.”

Ben Auer RHP / OF / St. Charles North, IL / 2026

From 8/5/25: RHP/OF Ben Auer (St. Charles North, 2026) is an uncommitted two-way to know from the event. Athletic 5-foot-11, 171-pound frame. The right-hander possessed a medium leg kick into balance point, working in line to the plate, with a short arm action from a ¾ slot. Auer kept hitters off-balance with his three-pitch mix, finishing with two scoreless innings and two strikeouts. His fastball played with arm-side run at 83-86 mph, topping 86.8 mph with a max IVB of 22.1” and an average IVB of 17.4”. He also employed a sharp slider at 76-77 mph with a spin rate in the ranges of 2,600-2,700+ rpm, and a downer curveball at 67-71 mph with a -16.3” HM max. The right-hander also showed well at the plate during his round of BP, ending with a 92.1 mph max exit velocity and a 310-foot max distance.” 

Garret Matznick SS / OF / Newman Central Catholic, IL / 2026

From 6/10/25: Uncommitted. Stands in a compact 5-foot-8, 160-pound with athleticism. Started at short for the Comets, making an impact both at the plate and on the field. At the plate, Matznick has a simple, square setup with his hands starting at his shoulders, slight toe-tap trigger, and gets his hips all the way around through the swing. He has a quick, direct-to-ball swing that stays in the zone for a long time that produced a 3-for-4 game at the plate with a hard-hit double out of the leadoff spot for Newman. His athleticism was on display at short, making some difficult plays ranging to his left and making strong throws across the diamond. A must-follow name headed into his senior year.”

Trevor Wallace SS / 2B / Libertyville, IL / 2026

From 8/24/25 
Positional Profile: SS/2B
Body: 5-10, 170-pounds. Athletic frame with rounded shoulders.
Hit: RHH. Wide, balanced setup, minimal stride and load. Repeatable swing, works on-plane, gap-to-gap elevated approach. 58.8 mph bat speed with 7g of rotational acceleration.
Power: 91 mph max exit velocity (83.7 avg.); 319-foot max batted distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 77 mph. Short loose arm action.
Defense: Two hand funnel into body, reliable transfers, clean actions, natural feel for the position, clean double play turn.
Athletic Testing: 7.42 runner in the 60-yard dash; 22.20-inch max vertical jump.

Alex Henry RHP / 3B / Marion, IL / 2026

From 7/11/25: RHP Alex Henry (Marion, 2026) showed well at last year’s Southern Illinois Summer ID and ran it back as he flashed an improved arsenal. Henry has a physical 6-foot-2, 215-pound frame. The right-hander operates from a simple, controlled delivery while having a full, clean arm action from a ¾ slot. Henry threw the hardest max fastball velocity at 85.1 mph while sitting 82-84 mph. His fastball has a 94% spin efficiency while having an average induced vertical break of 17 inches. Henry also showed a slider that sat 68-70 mph while having an average horizontal movement of -4.8 inches and a zone percentage of 80%. His changeup showed heavy fade while having an average horizontal movement of 15.6 inches (18.6 inches max) and sitting 71-74 mph with a spin efficiency of 89%. Henry rounded out his four-pitch mix with a curveball that sat 65-67 mph with an average induced vertical break of -5.8 inches (-6.5 inches max) and an average horizontal movement of -5.6 inches (-7.4 inches max).”

Peyton Campbell LHP / OF / Auburn High School, IL / 2026

From 6/2/25: LHP/OF Peyton Campbell (Auburn, 2026) gave a strong look on both sides of the ball. On the mound, the southpaw showed a clean delivery and fastball that played up to 83 mph with feel for the zone. He also showed a tight, shorter curveball at 74-77 mph and sweeping slider at 71-73 mph. At the plate, he showed a flat and compact swing that worked on the barrel, staying mostly pull-side with a peak EV of 92 mph.”

Parker Eggenberger 2B / 3B / Dee-Mack, IL / 2026

Arm: RH. INF - 83.00 mph. 3/4 arm slot, long, loose arm action.
Defense: Advanced footwork, soft hands, showed off some range
Athletic Testing: 6.81 runner in the 60-yard dash; 24.60-inch max vertical jump.

Alex Arens RHP / OF / Glenbard North, IL / 2026

From 3/12/25: RHP Alex Arens (Glenbard North, 2026) is an intriguing arm from the day with some deception in his delivery and a loose arm from a lower release window. He showed to have some feel for his fastball around the zone with heavy running action, averaging over 17” while cruising around 82-84, topping at 85 mph. He has developing spin on his slider that showed bullet shape at 69-72 mph, while his changeup profiles well off the fastball with a similar release and arm-side traits.”

Zachary Collins OF / RHP / Grant, IL / 2026

From 2/11/25:OF/RHP Zachary Collins (Grant, IL; 2026) measured 6-foot, 152 with a high waist, sloped shoulders and a projectable frame. He put together one of the most impressive performances of the day. With the bat, he showed off his quick hands and ability to drive the baseball and registered the 5th best exit velocity of the day at 93 mph. From the outfield he unleashed throws up to 92 mph showing impressive carry and backspin through release while also displaying aggressive actions fielding through the baseball. On the mound his fastball topped out at 86 mph and was able to drive it downhill through locations throughout the bullpen session. He paired his fastball with a sharp slider (72-76 mph) with short and quick lateral breaking action that he landed consistently for strikes. The changeup (73-75 mph) was thrown with fastball intent and had depth and fade to the pitch as it approached the hitting zone making it a useful third pitch for Collins. Overall, Collins is an interesting follow for the state of Illinois after what he was able to do on Sunday.”

Lucas Calderin RHP / OF / Glenbard East, IL / 2026

From 2/13/25: OF Lucas Calderin (Glenbard East, 2026) is a right-handed hitter to know from the day, showcasing a strong and controlled right-handed swing. There’s some ease and balance to his operation, staying on-time throughout while working on the barrel to his pull-side and flashing the ability to go the other way with it (T93.5 mph EV).”  

Nathan Cerocke SS / 2B / Benet Academy, IL / 2026

From 6/19/25:Uncommitted. Strong 5-foot-8, 173-pound frame. Started at second base and hit out of the lead-off position. Cerocke made a huge impact for the Redwings during Friday afternoon’s game as he went 3-for-5 at the plate. The left-handed hitter operates from a balanced, tall stance. Compact swing that is direct to the ball with a flat path with strong hands. Lead off the game with a single into center field. In the third, Cerocke would drive a ball into the right field for a double. In his final at-bat, he would connect on a line drive to left field for an RBI single.”

Hayden Ralston OF / RHP / Galesburg Area Voc Ctr, IL / 2026

From 10/5/25: OF/RHP Hayden Ralston (Galesburg, 2026) was one of the biggest winners of the event as he shined both at the plate and on the mound. Ralston is listed with an athletic 5-foot-10, 174-pound frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter operates from a wide base with a small foot lift. Compact swing with a slight uphill bat path that creates loft on impact. He posted a max exit velocity of 99 mph with a max distance of 377 feet. Ralston posted an impressive average bat speed of 77.2 mph with a max hand speed of 24.2 mph. Defensively, he had the top outfield velocity of 92 mph. On the mound, Ralston has a simple, uptempo delivery with a high leg lift with tuck. Short, quick arm action from a ¾ arm slot. His fastball and sinker both sat 84-86 mph with the fastball showing arm-side run. His changeup sat 79-82 mph while keeping it low. Ralston rounded out his pitch-mix with a curveball that sat 71-74 mph. Ralston is a name to keep an eye on in the 2026 class.”
