OF/RHP Hayden Ralston (Galesburg, 2026) was one of the biggest winners of the event as he shined both at the plate and on the mound. Ralston is listed with an athletic 5-foot-10, 174-pound frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter operates from a wide base with a small foot lift. Compact swing with a slight uphill bat path that creates loft on impact. He posted a max exit velocity of 99 mph with a max distance of 377 feet. Ralston posted an impressive average bat speed of 77.2 mph with a max hand speed of 24.2 mph. Defensively, he had the top outfield velocity of 92 mph. On the mound, Ralston has a simple, uptempo delivery with a high leg lift with tuck. Short, quick arm action from a ¾ arm slot. His fastball and sinker both sat 84-86 mph with the fastball showing arm-side run. His changeup sat 79-82 mph while keeping it low. Ralston rounded out his pitch-mix with a curveball that sat 71-74 mph. Ralston is a name to keep an eye on in the 2026 class.

RHP Hayden Ralston (Galesburg Area, 2026) had the loudest showing in the bullpen during the event. Ralston has an athletic 5-foot-10, 169-pound frame with plenty of room to add strength. The right-hander operates from an easy, controlled delivery with a quick, short arm action from a ¾ slot. His fastball sat 86-87 mph while topping out at 88.2 mph, which was the best in the showcase. The pitch had an average spin rate of 2395 RPM (2555 RPM max) with an average induced vertical break of 19.9 inches (23 inches max). Ralston’s curveball sat 72-75 mph with an average horizontal movement of -5.5 inches with an average induced vertical break of 1.1 inches. He also showed a changeup that sat 80-82 mph with an average spin rate of 1793 RPM with an average horizontal movement of 15.9 inches (20.8 inches max). At the plate Ralston hit the second hardest hit ball of the event (96.2 mph), ran a 6.95 60 time, and had the day’s best bat speed numbers - 80.9 mph avg, 84.4 mph max.
