RHP/OF Ben Auer (St. Charles North, 2026) is an uncommitted two-way to know from the event. Athletic 5-foot-11, 171-pound frame. The right-hander possessed a medium leg kick into balance point, working in line to the plate, with a short arm action from a ¾ slot. Auer kept hitters off-balance with his three-pitch mix, finishing with two scoreless innings and two strikeouts. His fastball played with arm-side run at 83-86 mph, topping 86.8 mph with a max IVB of 22.1” and an average IVB of 17.4”. He also employed a sharp slider at 76-77 mph with a spin rate in the ranges of 2,600-2,700+ rpm, and a downer curveball at 67-71 mph with a -16.3” HM max.
