RHP/1B Gavin Fuscone (St. Charles East) was far and away the biggest winner on the mound, and he also showed some intrigue with the bat. Listed at 6-foot-5, 203-pounds, the big right-hander uses his levers to his advantage in his delivery to get down the mound, staying in-line and delivering his arsenal from a long, loose arm swing and high ¾ slot. The fastball sat 91 mph throughout the duration of his ‘pen, peaking at 92 mph with over 2,400 rpm at times. This set up a wipeout slider with over 20” of horizontal sweep, playing with sharp action over 2,400 rpm as well, 77-79 mph. At the plate, he peaked at 95 mph for his EV with a strong uphill swing and pull-side approach, also flashing line-drives up the middle. One of the more intriguing uncommitted arms left in the Midwest.

Projectable, long-levered 6-foot-5, 190-pound frame with room to still fill out. Fuscone went 2-for-4 with a triple and four RBIs. Balanced stance with a simple stride and small bat tilt. Flat bat path with a line drive approach. Played a quality 3B with a strong arm across the infield.

RHP Gavin Fuscone (St. Charles East, 2026) is a projectable, long-levered 6-foot-5, 184-pound prospect to follow. His fastball sits 86-87 mph with a max spin rate of 2417 RPM while averaging out at 2263. Slider had a ton of movement as it had a max HM of -22.3 inches and averaged out at -18.3 inches while sitting 72-76 mph. Fuscone’s changeup sat 75-77 mph with an average spin rate of 1622 RPM.

Fuscone showed an intriguing two-way profile this past weekend, highlighted by a projectable 6-foot-4, 190-pound frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter showed athletic movements, standing upright with his hands high and a simple trigger. On the mound, the right-handed pitcher showed a two-pitch mix with feel for spin on his fastball, which sat in the 82-85 mph range (2200-2400 rpm) and was paired with a slider in the 73-75 mph range.
