We have strong cast of players within the top 50 of our rankings with the potential of their name being called at the end of the summer.

As always, the evaluation process is a fluid and ongoing process with multiple viewings in order to get the best feel for players abilities. It’s important to note that as players continue their development some show marked improvement at a much more rapid pace. That doesn’t indicate that other players got worse or went backwards, it’s just how player development works. As the year unfolds, players make improvements and new prospects pop up on the radar expanding the Preo Baseball rankings universe. In addition to the evaluations of players, our scouts, both those in Georgia and nationally, have also had multiple discussions with each other to review our individual lists and then make adjustments based on what we've each seen.

Notable New Additions

Michael Nottleman, LHP, Columbus
The Nottleman stock grew in leaps and bounds throughout 2025 including earning a commitment to Georgia Tech to close the summer as well. Long and lanky at 6-foot-5, 200-pounds, the LHP creates a tough downhill angle out of a compact arm action that repeats with ease. Fastball only continues to get better, working up to 90 with sharp arm-side life and command to land throughout the zone. Curveball has big looping 11/5 shape in the high-70s with quality depth and feel to land on the outer half consistently. Changeup might be the most advanced offering for Nottleman with big arm-side fade and ability to tunnel extremely well for both early strikes and whiffs.

Shane Jelenevsky, RHP, Hillgrove
The Peach State gets stronger with the addition of the former future gamer in Jelevensky and provides Hillgrove with a brand-new frontline starter. Standing an XL 6-foot-7, 245-pounds, the Maryland commit made big strides throughout the year, showing excellent body control and velo jumping across the full mix. Fastball was up to 92-93 in the fall with some heavy sink and run action. Advanced ability to manipulate the curveball at 71-74 with slurvy movement and pairs it nicely with a sharp cutter at 80-84 with late bite for S/M. Changeup is a quality offering to round out the mix at 83-84 with some depth. There’s a ton to like in the profile and could have the upside to be alongside some of the best RHP in the class.

CJ Woolcock, 1B, Parkview

Aiden Kitchens, C/3B, North Forsyth

Ollie Tinglehoff, C/RHP, Jackson County

Savon Harper, 1B/OF, Westlake
With the amount of athletes that Westlake has throughout the lineup, Harper provides a significant power presence in the middle of the order and could be a huddle gem that remains uncommitted in the 2026 class. Strong hands/wrists with present bat speed in an uphill path that allows the outfielder to generate easy pull-side carry that showed well in-game throughout the summer and fall. Tools to profile across the outfield in a physical 6-foot-3, 205-pound frame with the highest upside in the corners where the bat can thrive.
