This update takes a look at a few new faces that are introduced to the rankings as a result of fall performances in front of our staff. There were a few different ways to get in front of our staff this fall and some players took advantage of those opportunities by showing extremely well in those settings. Today we take a look at ten new faces inside of this rankings update. Each player's breakdown includes notes on their specific performance and some video from those times that we saw them.

VA/DC Class of 2026: New Faces

Collin Felts OF / 2B / Piedmont Christian School, VA / 2026

Felts was on a tear this summer putting together an offensive clinic. He brings an aggressive mindset to the plate that showed some consistent impact this fall. He’s a physical athlete with a high motor that plays the game hard. He showed the ability to get the barrel out early and show some strength to the pull side for extra bases. It is a corner outfield profile with the chance to hit for some power down the road.

Trey Fitchett SS / 2B / Christchurch School, VA / 2026

Fitchett came out this fall and put together some quality at-bats. It is a lean, athletic frame that has some strength present to impact the baseball. He keeps a level barrel path that has some adjustability. The line drive tendencies work from gap to gap, and he isn't afraid to use the back side of the field in his approach. He is an above-average runner that has the arm strength to provide some defensive versatility in the infield.

Maxwell Henry 3B / OF / Briar Woods High, VA / 2026

It was a monster fall for Henry, as he was an impact bat each time he stepped up to the plate. It is a compact frame that provides some thump in the bat. He brings an aggressive approach that looks to lift the baseball to the pull side for extra bases. He brings some position versatility with his athleticism, being able to move around the infield and the outfield as well. The offensive progression was a good thing to see as we head into the new year.

Leo Holt C / RHP / Yorktown, VA / 2026

Holt displayed some electric stuff this fall as he saw a velocity increase. It is a quick arm from a solid, compact frame that works with easy effort. The fastball worked its way up to 90 and sat in the mid-to upper eighties. The fastball generated some swing and miss in the zone. The breaking ball serves as a solid secondary option that is firm with late depth. The breaking ball works well to set up the fastball and changeup as out pitches. He competes on the mound and knows how to get outs.

Danny Kim OF / 2B / PDG Academy, VA / 2026

Kim is an athlete that can impact the game in different ways. He is an above-average runner that shows some instincts in the outfield to be a plus defender in all three outfield positions. Offensively he is versatile with his speed; he can turn a single into a double in an instant. He is contact driven with line drives to the middle and back side of the field. As he adds more strength, there is a chance for more impact, but it is a contact bat that can make things happen.
