1

Brody Jindra

Elkhorn South

SS/RHP

Jindra, Nebraska’s 2025 Player of the Year, is a premier two-way prospect with strength, athleticism, and high-end projection. He works from a high three-quarters slot with a 91–92 mph fastball (T92.8) that shows late arm-side life, pairing it with a sweeping 73–75 mph slider (T81.3) that moves 17 inches and a sinking 89.8 mph fastball with heavy run. Offensively, Jindra’s rhythmic, explosive swing produces loud, gap-to-gap contact, highlighted by a 100.1 mph max exit velocity and 365-foot peak distance. He’s an instinctive defender at shortstop with a 92 mph arm and 6.73 speed, giving him true impact ability in all phases.

2 Colin Driffill Millard North RHP

Driffill, a strong, compact right-hander committed to Kansas State, attacks hitters from a stretch-only delivery with downhill drive and a fast three-quarters arm slot. His fastball sits 91–93 mph (T93.3) with late life, while his 76–78 mph slider is a separator—tight, sweeping 15 inches with spin north of 2,300 rpm. He mixes in a firm 85–87 mph changeup with late fade, fills the zone, and competes with an edge that elevates his already impressive stuff.

3 Cordell Clinkingbeard Papillion LaVista South C

Clinkingbeard brings one of the most dynamic multi-tool profiles in the region. The Kansas State commit shows advanced strength and bat speed, reaching 103.4 mph off the bat with a 392-foot max. Behind the dish, his 82 mph arm and 1.91–1.95 pop times give him a commanding defensive presence. He also flashes two-way intrigue, touching 92.1 mph on the mound with a slider that breaks 15 inches. With power, athleticism, and defensive ability, Clinkingbeard’s trajectory continues to climb.

4 Rowen Scholting  Millard West RHP

Scholting looks the part at 6-foot-4, 180 pounds and showed closer-type traits in Atlanta. Working from an over-the-top slot, he ran his fastball into the upper 80s with late cut and carry, drawing attention from college coaches. Calm, poised, and competitive, Scholting handled big moments with ease and solidified himself as a fast-rising arm with more in the tank.

5 Cal Anthony Creighton Prep OF

Cal Anthony features a balanced, athletic swing with quiet, explosive hands that produce consistent impact, including a 92.6 mph max EV and 343-foot peak at the Procase and 96.4 mph at the Future Games. In the outfield, he moves confidently with clean routes and an 87 mph arm that shows real carry. With projectable pop and a polished defensive skill set, Anthony continues to trend upward as a well-rounded 2025 outfielder.
