With the end of the showcase season, fall baseball wrapped up, the World Series now behind us, we're heading into the true offseason. We thought it would be a good time to start up our weekly 'Recruiting Roundup' series, where we continue to highlight the prospects that committed to a collegiate program during the week. Be on the lookout each Friday for this series, or follow along on our X platform, where we announce commitments each morning. This past week was a busy one for commitments, so let's begin.

At the plate, the right-handed hitter has a fluid and controlled load, hangs foot slightly into a longer stride, easy hands that work on top of the baseball, upside swing with more to come physically and more strength on the way, 91 mph peak EV. On the bump, Wong operated out of a smooth, controlled delivery, showing a high leg lift with tuck and coil into a drop-and-drive finish. Ball comes out from a clean and compact ¾ slot. Fastball showed life out of the hand, sitting 80-82 mph with arm-side sink. Also employed a heavy fading changeup at 75-77 mph that mixed in well with his splitter. He also flashed a tight 11/5 curveball in the mid-70s.”

Fluid hands from a compact swing that has a flat bat path that is direct to the ball. Gap-to-gap approach that he displayed with a single shot back up the middle.
