RISERS

Connor Comeau | SS | Austin Anderson HS | Texas A&M Commit

#10 to #3

Comeau checks every box you want in a high-end left-handed hitting shortstop prospect. The frame is outstanding at 6’4”/180 with plenty of room to add strength, and the athleticism suggests he holds the middle of the diamond for a long time.  At the plate, Comeau shows an advanced hit approach for his age. He’s comfortable using all fields, stays inside the baseball, and controls the barrel with maturity beyond his class. The bat-to-ball foundation is strong now, and once the inevitable strength arrives, the power projection becomes significant. He’ll also be one of the younger players in his draft class, playing his senior summer at just 17, which only adds to the long-term upside. A high-follow prospect with real tools, instincts, and projection.
