Brayden Shannon SS / 3B / Blue Valley Southwest, KS / 2027

One of the most impressive infield defenders we saw all year, Shannon uses his speed extremely well. He’s a twitchy, smooth-moving athlete who brings a high level of consistency to both sides of the ball. His simple movements at the plate and on defense should translate cleanly to the next level, where he is committed to Nebraska. The 6-foot-1, 170-pound junior has sneaky burst, having posted sub–6.5 times in the 60-yard dash, and he continues to trend upward.
