At Prep Baseball Texas, we’re out at the ballparks watching the best the state has to offer, and each week in the Texas Scout Blog, we’ll highlight the players who stood out. Whether it’s a top-ranked commit showing why he’s one of the best in the country, an uncommitted prospect making a name for himself, or an under-the-radar player who demands attention, we’ll shine a light on those making an impact.

This isn’t about box scores—it’s about recognizing the guys who are stepping up when the lights are on. Texas high school baseball is as good as it gets, and we’re here to make sure the players proving it get the attention they deserve.

WEEK 11

Cooper Harris

Position: RHP

School: Flower Mound (2026)

Commitment: Texas

Physical: Good body will add strength.

Strength: FB up to 93 early, showed 91 in 5th. Solid feel for CB with ability to spin and show action. Around zone with stuff.

Obstacles/Concerns: DNS 3rd pitch. Last 2 outings FB velo has dropped to pitching 87-88 in the 4th. Would like to see ability to hold little more velo during outing although he did show 91 in the 5th.

Summation: Prospect for 2026. Good body, arm works, good delivery. FB touches 93 now. Feel for CB present with velocity and action. Strike thrower. Competes well on the mound.
