Park signee. A reliable top-of-the-order bat and returning All-State performer for the Chieftains, Gibbs showed off his connected right-handed swing in this one, working through the middle of the field and delivering several loud barrels, highlighted by a game-tying RBI single to left. He also flashed sure hands and steady actions up the middle defensively.
