TEXAS - Playoffs are in full swing in the Lone Star State and we have already seen some great matchups throughout the first round. There have been plenty of players that have stood out as the lights get brighter and the moments mean more. Below, we highlight the Player of the Week as well as some of the top performers from the 1st round based on submissions by high school coaches.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Carter Williams RHP / 3B / CANYON LAKE H S, TX / 2025 The Texas Tech recruit earns Player of the Week honors following a phenomenal all-around showing. On the mound, Williams earned 2 wins, with 6 innings pitched, allowing just 2 hits while racking up 14 strikeouts. At the plate, he was equally as impressive, going a perfect 4-for-4 with 2 home runs, 2 doubles, and 8 RBIs. He also drew 3 walks, crossed the plate 6 times, and was a constant threat in every at-bat. His explosive week showcased his talent on both sides of the ball and earned him Player of the Week honors for the Bi-District Round.
