NCHSAA Baseball Postseason Preview

After ten weeks of intense competition, travel, and standout performances, the North Carolina High School Athletic Association (NCHSAA) has announced its postseason plans. The 2025 playoffs will feature single-elimination tournaments across four classifications. Each tournament will move to a best of 3 series format in the regional finals and championship series.

This page will be updated throughout the postseason with bracket information and scheduling updates. Daily coverage, including scores and game highlights, will be available in our “Inside The Box” blog.

NCHSAA 1A Tournament

East Region Top Seeds:

1. Voyager Academy (20-2)
2. Bear Grass Charter (18-3)
3. Perquimans County (19-5)
4. East Wake Academy (16-3)

West Region Top Seeds:

1. Cherryville (17-7)
2. South Stanly (20-6)
3. Christ the King (14-7)
4. North Stokes (19-7)

Schedule:

• First Round: Tuesday, May 6
• Second Round: Friday, May 9
• Third Round: Tuesday, May 13
• Fourth Round: Friday, May 16
• Region Finals (Best of 3): May 20-24
• Championship (Best-of-3): May 30-31
