Edmond Memorial Bulldogs

Overall Record: 28-6
District Record: 13-1

PLAYERS TO WATCH:
IF/RHP Cooper Kardokus (2026, Nebraska)
OF Tyler Robinson (2026)
OF Landon Schmidt (2027)
LHP Noah Entrekin (2025, Cowley)
RHP Caleb Hines (2025, Seminole State)
RHP/1B Laird Williams (2026)
RHP/C Cole Dunlap (2027)
IF Koen Isaacson (2027)
C Weston Zerr (2028)

Coach Holman and the Bulldogs enter the postseason with a 28-6 record and one of the deepest squads in the state. On the mound, both Laird Williams and Cole Dunlap have been steady district starters, giving their team an opportunity to win each start, and often times freeing up their offense with the opponents lack of consistent offense. As mentioned, depth has been their difference maker as Noah Entrekin has filled a couple different roles as a finisher or starter, Cooper Wilson has thrown valuable innings as both a starter and reliever, and Caleb Hines continues to excel in any role needed. Offensively, the lineup is relentless and competitive starting at the top with Rhett and Jase Winchester setting the tone for steady bats of Cooper Kardokus and Justin Tracy in the middle of the order to churn out productive ABs and drive in runs. Underclassmen, such as Landon Schmidt and Koen Isaacson have continued to develop and can further impact the postseason. One of the fastest players in the state, Tyler Robinson (6.32 60), has also continued to develop and pressure opposing defenses.. Their ability to drive in runs up and down the lineup paired with their very strong defense and power arms makes for them to be considered one of the tougher outs this week as they look to push through to the state tournament.

Moore Lions

Overall Record: 22-12
District Record: 8-6

PLAYERS TO WATCH:
OF Dez Roach (2025)
C/RHP Ty Talkington (2025)
INF Carder Riley (2025)
OF/LHP Crue Riley (2025)
LHP/1B Max Howe (2025)
OF AJ Brennan (2025)
SS Maverick Gardner (2026)
RHP/3B Cole Gossett (2026)
OF Ethan Workman (2026)
LHP Grady Glidden (2027)
OF/RHP Alex Worley (2025)

Coach Haddox and his squad have made some noise throughout the year in getting to their 22-12 with their veteran led squad. Offensively, they've shown to pressure teams behind junior leadoff man Ethan Workman, senior Alex Worley, and junior shortstop Maverick Gardner in the 3-Hole. They have shown the ability to produce against tough arms as they wear them down with long, competitive ABs. On the mound, the Lions have to replace senior ace Peyton Eichler following a late year injury, but have received valuable innings from senior Max Howe, sophomore Grady Glidden coming back to the staff after a big freshman year, and Cole Gossett continuing to develop into one a competitive high upside arm. The Lions do not beat themselves which will be a big key in making their way through the Edmond Memorial Regional. They've proven they can compete with anyone and will look to make some noise in a deep postseason run.

Edmond North Huskies

Overall Record: 13-22
District Record: 7-7

PLAYERS TO WATCH:
C/1B/P Walker Wakeland (2025; NOC Enid)
INF Issac Laus (2025; Kansas Wesleyan)
C/P Brandon Green (2025; Eastern Oklahoma State JC)
LHP/OF Isaac Worden (2025; Cowley College)
OF Avery Lonberg (2026)
OF/P Paxton McClain (2026)
UTL Kolby Grinsteiner (2026)
SS Parker Allen (2028)

Coach Allen and the Huskies have had an up and down year after needing to replace the talented seniors they lost a year ago - especially on the mound. This year, they have been led on the mound by senior Isaac Worden a Cowley County commit that gives Edmond North the chance to beat anyone. Senior Brandon Green and junior Paxton McClain have also provided valuable innings with Green throwing Tuesdays and showing pitchability with a FB/CB mix. Offensively, there has been some inconsistency but both Walker Wakeland and Avery Lonberg have the ability to be game changers at the top of the order. Freshman shortstop Parker Allen has also continued to develop throughout the year and will get his first opportunity in postseason play. For the Huskies to advance, they will need their experience to shine through with the ability to get hot and get to opponent's bullpens in the middle innings of games.

Putnam City Pirates

Overall Record: 4-30
District Record: 1-13

PLAYERS TO WATCH:
INF/P Connor Fast (2025)
C/P/INF Bryson Vanover (2027)
3B/OF Jared Potter (2027)
OF Brandon Bennett (2026)
OF/INF Marcico Petties (2028)
OF JTavione Twillie (2025)
P Andrew Simon (2025)

Coach Wood and the Pirates haven’t had the most successful season but look to see if they can make some noise going into this year's postseason. The leaders of this year’s Pirate team are senior infielder and pitcher Connor Fast, sophomore Bryson Vanover, and sophomore Jared Potter. They have also had production from senior Andrew Simon and junior outfielder Brandon Bennett. The Pirates have shown the ability to keep themselves in games and in the postseason, anything can happen when a team gives themselves those types of opportunities. They'll look to capture some magic with their combination of youth and experience to make some noise in Edmond.
