NCISAA Baseball Postseason Preview
After ten weeks of intense competition, travel, and standout performances, the North Carolina Independent School Athletic Association (NCISAA) has announced its postseason plans. The 2025 playoffs will feature single-elimination tournaments across four classifications, each culminating in a best-of-three championship series to determine the State Champion.
This page will be updated throughout the postseason with bracket information and scheduling updates. Daily coverage, including scores and game highlights, will be available in our “Inside The Box” blog.
NCISAA 1A Tournament
Top Seeds:
- Lawrence Academy (14–6)
- Pungo Christian Academy (12–8)
- Kerr-Vance Academy (7–14)
- Crossroads Christian School (11–5)
Schedule:
- First Round: Tuesday, May 6
- Second Round: Friday, May 9
- Semifinals: Tuesday, May 13
- Championship (Best-of-3): Friday & Saturday, May 16–17
Format Notes:
- All rounds prior to the championship will be hosted by the higher-seeded team.
- The championship series will be held at NC Wesleyan College.
NCISAA 2A Tournament
Top Seeds:
- Burlington Christian Academy (20–1)
- Freedom Christian Academy (20–5)
- Faith Christian School (19–6)
- Greenfield School (16–5–1)
Schedule:
- First Round: Tuesday, May 6
- Second Round: Friday, May 8
- Third Round: Saturday, May 10
- Semifinals: Tuesday, May 13
- Championship (Best-of-3): Friday & Saturday, May 16–17
Format Notes:
- All games leading up to the championship will be hosted by the higher seed.
- The championship will take place at McCrary Park, home of the Asheboro Zookeepers.
NCISAA 3A Tournament

- Gaston Christian School (16–2)
- High Point Christian Academy (20–8)
- Hickory Grove Christian Academy (11–12)
Schedule:
- First Round: Tuesday, May 6
- Second Round: Friday, May 8
- Third Round: Saturday, May 10
- Semifinals: Tuesday, May 13
- Championship (Best-of-3): Friday & Saturday, May 16–17
Format Notes:
- All rounds, including semifinals, will be hosted by the higher seed.

- Covenant Day School (18–6)
- Metrolina Christian Academy (26–1)
- Charlotte Latin School (18–5–1)

- First Round: Tuesday, May 6
- Second Round: Friday, May 9
- Semifinals: Tuesday, May 13
- Championship (Best-of-3): Friday & Saturday, May 16–17
