Each week throughout the high school season, we will announce the Prep Baseball Washington Pitcher and Hitter of the Week, recognizing standout performances from across the state. With numerous players excelling both at the plate and on the mound, this award will be based on nominations submitted through our POTW Google Form.

Additionally, we will continue our Washington Diamond Notes to highlight other deserving players nominated by coaches who were not selected as the Pitcher or Hitter of the Week.

This week's Hitter of the Week is '26 INF Jake Doman (Glacier Peak).

WA HITTER OF THE WEEK (4/28-5/3)

Jake Doman 3B / 1B / Glacier Peak, WA / 2026 Junior had a standout offensive week to win HOTW honors, going 7/8 overall. Doman had 2 doubles, 3 runs and an RBI as well. The Glacier Peak High School product was most recently seen at the Central Washington Preseason ID this winter.
