WCAC moves into the semifinals and finals this week, with three Virginia/DC teams being a part of that final four. VISAA playoffs will shake out after this week and some NOVA districts near the end of the regular season, with district tournaments right around the corner. Without further ado, we are going to highlight a few teams that have seen some movement in the Power 25.

VA/DC Power 25 Update Notes

+ St. John's remains at the top spot and Independence moves into second after both had yet another unblemished week. The Cadets prepare for the WCAC semifinals versus Gonzaga, while the Indy Tigers have a home and home with Riverside.

+ The biggest move up this week comes from the Mills Godwin Eagles. Simply put, they are handling business. The Eagles lost two one run games to quality opponent a few weeks back, but since then the have beaten district foes Glen Allen, Deep Run, and Freeman. Luke Smyers (Alabama) is throwing as well as any arm in the state and the offense is getting the job done in big spots.

 + There are four new teams moving into the rankings this week, including a Jackson Reed team that enters for the first time all spring. The Tigers have quality wins over St. Alban's, Landon, and Georgetown Prep. While they do have four losses, they do not necessarily have any bad losses. Comparing to some VA/DC teams, two of their losses came to St. John's early on and a one run loss to Madison in late March.
