Each week, WIAA coaches around the state submit to us their nominations for the Prep Baseball Wisconsin Player of the Week and Prep Baseball Wisconsin Pitcher of the Week honors. Yesterday, we awarded the Week 4 Player of the Week to Jack Brenner (Fond du Lac, 2026) and the Pitcher of the Week to LHP Cal Schneider (New Berlin Eisenhower, 2027) for their excellent performances on the diamond. Multiple standout performances for Brenner throughout the week going 8-for-14 with two home runs, three doubles, two walks and 11 RBIs. Starting pitcher Cal Schneider would toe the rubber and carry a perfect game into the seventh inning, walking one batter before collecting his 13th and 14th strikeout of the night completing a no hit performance.
