2025 ROSTER
This year's roster is already shaping up nicely, just like in years past.
|
J. Beckett Berg RHP / 3B / Notre Dame , CA / 2027From 1/6/24: Positional Profile: RHP/3B Body: 6-3, 183-pounds. athletic wiry frame with long levers |

Joseph Flores Jr. SS / RHP / Arlington, CA / 2027From 1/4/25: “Flores Jr. attended the 2023 Prep Baseball Future Games and since then, has shown consistent growth on every viewing. He has added significant size to the frame as well as arm strength. In BP, he had a max EV of 95.8 with an average on 89.4. He hopped on the mound and topped 89.3 mph with a slider and changeup at 77-78 mph. He worked a very clean 5-batter slate, striking out 3 and inducing two groundballs. His 2-way profile is one to watch for this coming season.” |

Parker Leoff SS / 2B / Redondo Union High, CA / 2027From 5/28/25: “Leoff made a move inside the Top 10 during the previous update and now on the back of an outstanding Soph. campaign at Redondo Union he moves up another two spots into the Top 5 players in the state. For the 2025 spring Leoff posted a .356 average with a 1.052 OPS while posting six doubles and three homers in 96 plate appearances. Leoff walked more than he struck out with 15 BBs and 10 Ks, drove in 16 runs and scored 23 runs with six stolen bases. The Team USA alumnus will be in attendance at the Future Games Tryout: Los Angeles as he makes his case to join Team SoCal at the premier uncommitted event in the country.” |

Ira Rootman OF / HARVARD-WESTLAKE, CA / 2027From 3/18/25: “Rootman was another batter for Harvard-Westlake whose approach stood out. Through all 4 at bats, he looked very comfortable and confident in the box. He ended the day 2/4 putting the ball in play all 4 at bats. His singles both came via the pull side, displaying his ability to get the bat through the zone against high velo. In his last at bat with his team losing in the 7th, he hit a sharp line out to left. Even though he didn’t get on, those are the swings that will find grass over time and he was unfortunate not to do so for his team in that situation. Overall, I liked the Sophomore's confidence at the plate and ability to make consistent solid contact against good velo.” |

Carson Richter OF / RHP / Newbury Park, CA / 2027From 5/6/25: “Richter is an impressive physical prospect who has grown to just a tick under 6’5 (easily 6’5 in cleats) while starting to add strength to his frame which gives him an intriguing looking frame with sound athleticism across the board. While we always say the “little guy” needs time to develop, we often forget the “bigger kid” may need time to develop his full coordination to tap into the tools their size presents them. Richter got spotty playing time on varsity as a Fr. before moving into a full-time role this spring for the Panthers and for those who have been around this game long enough the strides the RH hitting power profile prospect has made from 2024 into 2025 have him directly on an upward path. The swing is uphill with loft in the contact profile which plays directly to the power in Richter’s profile and with any uphill path bat speed will be imperative to success to allow the hitter to get to contact and Richter is showing noticeably more bat speed now then in 2024 (a product of the strength he is beginning to add while being more comfortable with his body coordination) which flashed at times over a full year of varsity level at bats with six doubles and a homer (33% of his hits going for extra bases). He is solid present athlete who moves with confidence in RF showing the arm strength, athletic ability and feel for the position to remain in the corner OF long term. There is still rawness and development ahead of Richter to fully tap into all the potential in his profile, but the improvements he has made in the last 12+ months of following this young man have me confident he will stay on the upward trajectory he is currently on which would put him amongst not only the best 2027 players in Ventura County, but amongst the best 2027 recruits in the state of California in the future.” |

Nolan Riesenberg RHP / SS / Culver City High, CA / 2027From 1/5/25: Positional Profile: RHP/3B Intriguing two-way potential as both a LHH who shows defensive versatility, but also as a RHP with upside. |
