Unsigned Upperclass Spotlight: Brayden Hansen

The high school season is coming to a close as players start to turn their focus towards the summer circuit. The 2025 preseason showcase schedule got started in January with the Utah Preseason ID that featured roughly 60 prospects. We follow up the Preseason ID with our marquee event ahead of the HS season, the prestigeous Utah Preseason All-State that featured roughly 130 prospects with a large crop of the top talent in the State participating.

Our staff has had eyes on over 190 players these past couple months and with summer just about to begin, there is still a ton of quality uncommitted talent on the board in Utah's upperclass group. Over this summer, our staff will begin highlighting some of these names in our Unsigned Upperclass Spotlight— some of the incoming Juniors and Seniors that need to be on coaches radar during the summer.

We continue our Top Uncommitted Upperclass Spotlight Series with '26 RHP Brayden Hansen . Hansen is a 6'4" 170lbs RHP with a ton of upside. He worked his FB up to 87.4mph before the season, and with his frame, Hansen could quickly add a lot of velocity. His secondary stuff was also legit, as he featured a 79mph CB up to 2600rpm and -17.9IVB. He added on a changeup that generated a few whiffs during the live portion of the event. The CH sat 76-80mph and had some depth/run that made it a very tough pitch for hitters to pick up when added on to the FB/CB combo. This article will take a deeper dive into some of Hansen's TrackMan pitching metrics from prior events, as well as video footage and scouting notes.
