WIAA Diamond Notes: Week 6
May 15, 2025
Each week, WIAA coaches around the state submit to us their nominations for the Prep Baseball Wisconsin Player of the Week and Prep Baseball Wisconsin Pitcher of the Week honors. Yesterday, we awarded the Week 6 Player of the Week to INF/RHP Caden Meyer (Greendale, 2025; Carthage) and the Pitcher of the Week to RHP Loren Georger (Appleton West, 2025; St. Louis) for their excellent performances on the diamond. Across three games, Meyer was a consistent and impact bat for the Panthers, going 9-for-12 at the plate with nine extra base hits, 15 RBIs, seven doubles, a triple and a home run, scoring five runs himself.
