Unsigned Upperclass Spotlight: Kaden Anderson

RJ Elmore
Western Operations

The high school season is coming to a close as players now shift their focus to the summer circuit. The 2025 preseason showcase schedule featured the first-ever Hawaii Preseason Invitational—an eight-team tournament to kick off the year that saw all positional players run through a pro-style workout alongside our tech partners, while we also collected updated TrackMan pitching data on all arms during gameplay.

Our staff had eyes on over 100 players, and with the summer just around the corner, there is still a ton of quality uncommitted talent available in Hawaii’s upperclassman group. Over the next couple of weeks, our staff will begin highlighting some of these names who need to be on the radar of college coaches as the summer gets underway.

We continue our Top Uncommitted Upperclass Spotlight Series with '26 OF/LHP Kaden Anderson out of the Henry Perrine Baldwin HS program. Anderson is an athletic left handed hitter who will be one to keep and eye on this summer as he progresses and gets stronger.

Scouting Report

12/04/24

The tooled-out Baldwin High School OF/LHP came as advertised at Maui Fall ID where Prep Baseball Hawaii got a chance to lay eyes on him for the first time then stood out on a strong Maui/Kauai/Molokai/Lanai team at Hawaii Fall Showcase a few days later resulting in Kaden Anderson joining Prep Baseball Hawaii's 2026 Top 10.

Anderson topped in just about every category, offensively and defensively at Maui Open ID. Strong and aggressive traits to every facet of his game and to say he's put together is an understatement as he may have zero body fat.

Not afraid to take a hack in games with bat speed and room for 20+ lbs. 90 from OF with wheels for CF, profiles in CF or RF for a DI. Can also pitch, the lefty has been up to 87 with a solid mix, one who could develop into a DI LHP with two-way DI value.

Kaden Anderson is a sneaky five-tool player who's just scratching the surface and Prep Baseball Hawaii's #1 under-the-radar uncommitted Hawaiian who could end up a DI commit by next summer.

10/23/24

Anderson was arguably the best athlete of the event, #1 in many categories in this event including: Fastest 60 - 7.09s Strongest OF arm - 86 mph Highest TrackMan Exit Velo - 87.1mph Best Blast Bat Speed - 69.8mph Best Grip Strength: 150 (R), 146 (L) A number of colleges asked about Anderson after seeing his social media post from this event and many of those colleges have his name circled and are looking forward to seeing him next spring/summer. Out of this even, Anderson debuted on Prep Baseball Hawaii’s 2026 rankings at #11.
