HWBA Scout Day

The event will consist of a pro-style workout. Players will receive video hosted on site, VALD and TrackMan data, as well as positional showcase stats.
The Prep Baseball X Hawaii Wood Bat Academy Scout Day is an exclusive event for players in the HWBA program to update the metrics on their Prep Baseball Player Profiles heading into the season.
All players in attendance will receive a Prep Baseball profile completed with a headshot, video and TrackMan/VALD data. All data and metrics will be hosted on the Prep Baseball website, which is subscribed to by more than 900 colleges across the country.

Athletic Testing & Offense
- 60-Yard Dash: Laser-timed with 10- and 30-yard splits.
- Mechanical Evaluation: Full swing analysis.
- Batting Practice: Live round with TrackMan data recorded, including exit velocity, launch angle and distance.
Defensive Analysis
- Arm Strength: Position-specific velocity testing.
- Agility & Range: Evaluation of footwork and lateral movement.
Registered Pitchers & Catchers
Pitcher Evaluations
- 15-20 Pitch Bullpen: Fastball and secondary offerings.
- Delivery Analysis: Assessment of mechanics from the windup and stretch.
- TrackMan Analysis: Velocity, spin rate and movement profiles.
Catcher Evaluations
- Receiving: Assessment during live bullpens.
- Mobility: Blocking and agility evaluation.
- Pop Times: Recorded during defensive work.
REFUND POLICY
The Prep Baseball refund policy is of a transfer nature. Prep Baseball will permit the transfer of your payment to another Prep Baseball event that may be used within one year of the event date. Registration fees are of a transfer nature and will not be refunded. If an event is canceled due to weather, players will be issued a full credit toward a future event within the next 12 months.

Stats are collected using only the highest of standard equipment including Swift laser timers, TrackMan ball tracking technology, Blast Motion swing sensors, and Stalker radars. All stats are hosted in player profiles accompanied by Performance Tiers that show where a prospect ranks among his peers. |

PREP BASEBALL TECH PACKAGE
Following a Prep Baseball event, players will receive unrivaled access to their advanced ball-tracking and swing metrics through the TrackMan and BlastConnect apps as well as visual skills through Vizual Edge testing. Furthermore, key metrics will live inside the player's official Prep Baseball profile to help them in their recruitment process.

Players' body composition will be officially measured using state-of-the-art, medical-grade technology that will provide precise insights into height, weight, skeletal muscle mass, BMI and more. Players will step on scales using bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA), a method for measuring body composition, including muscle mass, body fat, and total body water. Our scales will then produce several metrics giving insight into the prospect’s body composition. Height will be measured using a digital stadiometer to get precise height measurements. Grip Strength Hitters' grip strength will be tested using a digital hydraulic dynamometer. Grip strength is an essential component to bat strength and controlling the barrel. Hitters will be put through a max strength test on both hands, shedding light on hand strength and potential power and bat control down the road. |
