Take a look at five new faces that have made their way from unranked, to climbing into the Top 175 of the VA/DC Class of 2026. These individuals move in after they made an impact this spring in front of our staff.

Class of 2026 New Faces:

*All players are listed in alphabetical order*

Charlie DePippo C / 1B / Riverside High, VA / 2026

DePippo has been a consistent bat in the lineup for the Riverside Rams this spring. We have had the chance to see him multiple times throughout the spring. One thing that has stood out each time is his ability to be on barrel. It is a strong, compact frame that has the ability to work gap to gap with doubles power. He keeps minimal movement in the load with a simple, level barrel path with line drive tendencies. Behind the plate he brings a hard nosed mentality. He shows the ability to move around and block pitches in the dirt. He's a competitor in all facets of the game that shows signs of handling a pitching staff.

Lee Garris OF / 3B / MAURY HIGH, VA / 2026

Garris has made his presence felt in the 757 this spring as an impact left-handed bat. He has been impactful at the top of the order with a smooth left-handed swing. The hands have rhythm in the load with a quick uphill barrel path. He has shown some power with the bat with a couple of long balls on the year. He plays with a high motor and gets out of the box hard with some above average speed. Defensively he has shown some positon versatility playing the hot corner and letting the athleticism play in the outfield as well. It is a hit tool type of bat that has some physicality in the athletic frame to impact the offensive game.

Clayton Golden LHP / LHP / CULPEPER COUNTY HIGH, VA / 2026

Golden was a pop up arm early on this spring where the southpaw ran the fastball up to 89 in two different outings. It is a solid, durable frame with a strong lower half. He works with a pretty easy operation from a lower three-fourths slot. The fastball has shown the ability to induce weak contact with some natural arm side run. While the secondary has been minimal, he has shown some success on the mound with the fastball. There is room for plenty of polish that gives some exciting upside for the future.

Eli Macturk 3B / 1B / Mills Godwin, VA / 2026

Macturk has been a steady presence at the top of the Eagles lineup this spring. He brings a left-handed bat that shows feel for the barrel with some impact to the pull side. He is able to hit with two strikes and use all parts of the field. It is rhythm in the load that delivers the barrel with line drives. The hit tool has always been on display but it has now shown up consistently on the varsity level.

Landon McGinn RHP / ST PAUL VI CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL, VA / 2026

McGinn has stepped up in a big way this spring by adding some depth and throwing valuable innings for the Panthers. He has thrown innings as a starter and as a reliever on the back end of games. No matter the role, he has stepped up in different situations and has found success. The fastball works in the mid eighties and has mixed in a slider that has some swing and miss stuff. He has shown the willigness to be put in different roles and adjust to various situations which makes him an asset to any staff.
