With NJCAA postseason play well underway, we take a look at a handful of name-to-know uncommitted players from Metropolitan CC.

Broxton Cole

Sophomore INF Broxton Cole has become a steady force in the middle infield for Metropolitan Community College. A strong right-handed bat with advanced plate discipline, Cole is hitting .337 on the season with a .500 on-base percentage and a .758 slugging mark through 50 games. He’s shown a solid mix of power and speed, racking up 6 home runs, 26 RBIs, and 16 stolen bases while scoring 41 times. Offensively, Cole features a short, direct swing that produces hard line drive contact to all fields, complementing his quick-twitch athleticism. At the team’s Scout Day last fall, he ran a 6.82 60-yard dash and impressed with clean infield actions and a strong, accurate arm.
