Prep Baseball Arkansas Staff

With the spring season nearing its conclusion, a vital summer for many uncommitted prospects around the state is about to begin. As we enter an important period of recruiting for 2026 prospects, our staff will highlight the top five uncommitted prospects in the state for each position group. Click each players name or picture to see their full profile and measurables.

Jacob Murray SS / RHP / Cabot, AR / 2026

Murray was a big part of a solid season for Cabot, taking reps at second and third base as well as shortstop while giving the Panthers a quality bat in the heart of the order.

Noah Ragsdale 2B / SS / Valley View, AR / 2026

Ragsdale was productive as he moved around in the Valley View order all season, but in the field he found a consistent role as the everyday second basemen for one of the state's top teams.

Cannon Driskill SS / Valley View, AR / 2026

Driskill spent the bulk of the season manning the hot corner for the Blazers, and was a testament to the high-quality depth of the Blazers' lineup, putting up nice numbers at the plate in the bottom half of the order.

Beau Brock SS / 2B / Lakeside, AR / 2026

Brock put together a very nice season for Lakeside, putting up solid numbers at the plate in the middle of the order while taking on the role of the Rams' everyday shortstop.

Elijah Nester 2B / RHP / Bentonville West, AR / 2026

Nester was a Swiss Army knife for the Bentonville West defense, splitting time between the infield and outfield while being a consistent presence at the top of the lineup.
