Unsigned Upperclass Spotlight: Noah Sham
May 15, 2025
The high school season is coming to a close as players now shift their focus to the summer circuit. The 2025 preseason showcase schedule featured the first-ever Hawaii Preseason Invitational—an eight-team tournament to kick off the year that saw all positional players run through a pro-style workout alongside our tech partners, while we also collected updated TrackMan pitching data on all arms during gameplay.
Our staff had eyes on over 100 players, and with the summer just around the corner, there is still a ton of quality uncommitted talent available in Hawaii’s upperclassman group. Over the next couple of weeks, our staff will begin highlighting some of these names who need to be on the radar of college coaches as the summer gets underway.
We continue our Top Uncommitted Upperclass Spotlight Series with '26 SS/3B Noah Sham out of the Kaiser HS program. Sham shows clean actions in the infield, possessing quick hands and quality footwork. His swing is short/fast to the ball, putting up a max bat speed of 83.1mph, and a max exit velocity of 93mph. As Sham continues to add muscle and develop this upcoming summer, he will be a player for college coaches to keep an eye on closely.

Scouting Report
5-08/155...young 2026 SS/2B w/value on both sides & plus upside due to age...confident hitter, quick/compact swing, all-fields/line-drive approach, which should be his game, got some feel, impressive BP working entire field hitting ball where pitched, hit looks to be a value, contact/bunt-'um-over/get-'um-over 2-hole profile...love the defensive upside, confident/relaxed in field, game slows down for him, good feet/actions with feel/timing, plays hops well chopping up steps, does it easy for age w/advanced 83 INF velo, likely ends up with enough arm for left side but would try behind plate, could surprise, potential +UTL guy...love the makeup, scrappy "baseball player"...turns 18 Oct 28, could easily be a 2027 = increased upside...all the makings of a DI recruit.
