Today we release a late spring update to the 2027 class. This update will have the class holding at the Top 125, with the next expansion coming in late summer after our tournaments and showcase events. While there was some significant movement in the Top 75-ish, there was not as much movement on the back end due to the fact that 2027's are still underclassmen and not as many of them see significant time on the varsity level. That makes it tough to gather information, data, and evaluations in order to create any significant movement. Below we highlight a few players that our staff had an opportunity to gather evaluations on this spring during the high school season.

+ Brock Hall - 1B - EC Glass - Uncommitted

While Hall has certainly made an impression at Glass this spring, his most recent performance at Summer Kickoff left our staff very impressed. Standing 6-foot-9 and hitting from the left side with some barrel feel and ability to hit for average. In addition to the improved hit tool, the impact appears to have taken a small step forward and has maintained his athleticism. Rare athletic skillset for his size and frame, turning out a 6.8 60 at the event. It will be interesting to see the frame continue to fill out and if the power potential continues to show upside.

+ Blake Mingo - SS - Briar Woods - Uncommitted

Long and lean 6-foot-3, 190-pound frame with room to add functional strength. While he still has room to add more strength, he has added some noticeable mass and it has shown well in his ability to impact the baseball. Mingo has maintained his spot in the middle of the Briar Woods lineup for a large portion of the spring and has seen some big run production and impact that comes in spurts. Lately Mingo has been making his way in the lineup in the DH spot, as well as seeing some time in the infield at various points.

+ Caden Stancil - RHP - Thomas Dale - Uncommitted

Stancil has been the feature arm for the Knights this spring, hurling just over forty-three innings, striking out forty-three, and possessing a sub 2.0 ERA. This is a pitchability type of arm that has shown mid 80's this spring and uses two secondary pitches to round out his arsenal. It is not overpowering stuff, but it is a guy that has ceiling left due to his present ability to pitch and get outs. The velo continues to make small gains and if/when he makes another jump, he could be a big riser.
