With the 2025 high school baseball season nearing its end, several outfielders across New Jersey have consistently stood out for their performance on both sides of the game. These players have been key contributors to their teams’ success. Whether leading in batting averages, defensive metrics, or clutch moments, these outfielders have set themselves apart in a competitive field. Here's a look at the top performing outfielders in New Jersey this season.

+ Dylan Fitzsimmons, OF (Morris Knolls, 2025; St, John’s):
The St. John’s commit leads the Golden Eagles in every offensive statistic. Currently carrying a .377 batting average, Fitzsimmons has 20 hits, including six doubles, one triple, and five home runs. The senior has driven in 17 runs, scored 22 times, walked 17 times, and swiped four bags. Fitzsimmons is currently ranked No. 16 in the state's senior class.
+ Tyler Wiltsey, OF (Audubon, 2025; Rutgers):
A Rutgers recruit, Wilstey has been the Green Wave’s top offensive producer and had one of the most impressive stat lines on this list. With a .478 average, the senior has 33 hits, nine doubles, two triples, and two homers. The senior has driven in 24 runs, scored 28 times, walked 18 times, and stole 27 bags so far. WIltsey is the 18th ranked prospect in New Jersey’s senior class.
+ Chase Camac, OF (Mainland, 2025; Quinnipiac):
Carmac, ranked No. 72 in the NJ 2025 class and Quinnipiac commit, has been impressive for the Mustangs so far this season. Carmac has a .412 average with 19 RBIs, and 22 runs scored. The senior has 33 hits, along with six doubles, two triples, and stolen 12 bags while walking 11 times.
+ William Mahala, OF (Seton Hall Prep, 2025; Virgina):
A Future Game alum and No. 8 overall prospect in the NJ senior class, Mahala is having a quality year for the Pirates. The Virginia commit has a .429 average while smashing four homers, one triple, and six doubles. The senior has 19 RBIs, and 24 runs scored along with 13 walks and seven SBs.
+ Jake Buonanno, OF (Mahwah, 2025; St. Peter's):
St. Peter's commit, Buonanno has been the Thunderbirds leadoff hitter and their top performer. The senior has a .493 average with 36 total hits, with ten doubles and five home runs. The leadoff hitter has scored 35 times, walked 19 times, and stolen 12 bags. Buonanno is currently ranked No. 139 in the state’s senior class.
+ Chase Tyburczy, OF (West Milford, 2026; Wagner):
Tyburczy, a junior, has been a top performer for the Highlanders throughout this season. The Wagner commit had 28 hits, 17 of which are extra base hits, 12 doubles, one triple, four homers. Tyburczy had driven in 22 runs with 24 runs scored, while carrying a .384 batting average. The junior is currently ranked No. 88 in the state’s junior class.
+ Matthew Tafuri, OF (Delbarton, 2026):
Tafuri, a former Future Gamer and a standout from this winter’s Preseason All-State event has been a huge reason for Delbarton’s 18-4 record this season. The uncommitted junior has a .483 average with seven doubles, two triples, and a homer. Tafuro has walked 20 times, and has 35 runs scored. The outfielder is ranked No. 22 in the NJ 2026 class.
+ Tommy Conroy, OF (Point Pleasant Beach, 2026; Mount St. Mary’s):
Conroy has been an on base machine this season. Mount St. Mary’s commit, Conroy is hitting .460 with 29 hits, including five doubles, 23 walks, two HBP, 17 stolen bases, and 33 runs. The junior’s ability to get on base is a big reason for Point Pleasant Beach’s 16-6 record. The outfielder is currently ranked No. 56 in the NJ junior class.
+ Finnian O’Loughlin, OF (Delbarton, 2027):
Uncommitted, the No. 1 ranked sophomore in NJ has had an impressive season to date. O’Loughlin is hitting .383 for the Green Wave with seven doubles, a triple, and three homers. The sophomore has driven in 24 runs, scoring 17 times, and walking seven times. O’Loughlin was a standout from the Preseason All-state Underclass event this winter.
+ Ryan Hawken, OF (Mahwah, 2027):
Uncommitted, Hawken is currently ranked No. 39 in the NJ 2027 class. The sophomore has the most at-bats on the team and carries a .397 batting average, along with four doubles, one triple, and four homers. Hawken also leads his team with 29 RBIs, and has 12 stolen bases. Also, has 31 total hits and has scored 22 times. The sophomore is a name to follow throughout his high school career.
