John Battle

 

The John Battle Trojans had a successful week going 3-0 and becoming the Mountain 7 Disctrict Champions. They defeated Lee, Union, and Abingdon on their way to the championship. The offense had a strong showing as they put up thirty-four runs combined in those three games. Porter Gobble, Braxton Price, Casey Rector, and Caden Sturgill had multiple hits throughout the district tournament. The Trojans are getting hot at the right time as they head into regional play.
