Prep Baseball KC Bash Tournament Preview

Looking at the 2025 Prep Baseball KC Bash, we have a great weekend ahead here in KC with some of the best baseball weather that we’ve had all spring. This 137-team event will be hosted by the Creekside and Homefield Baseball complexes, Mid America Sports Complex, Bonner Springs High School, and the University of St. Mary’s. Starting on Friday, May 16th, and ending on the 18th, this is trending to be some of the best baseball of the spring, with a mix of local and out-of-state talent across all age groups.
Let’s take a look at the 2024 KC Bash champions:
9u Open- Prodigy Express went 5-0 with a run differential of 53.
- 10u D3- Prodigy Bulldogs 10u went 4-0 with a run differential of 13.
- 10u D1/D2- Kansas City Gators 10u- Coleman went 4-0 with a run differential of 21.
- 11u D3- Topeka Mudhens went 5-0 with a run differential of 25.
- 11u D1/D2- KC Reign went 4-1 with a run differential of 27.
- 12u D1- Inside Edge Asher went 4-0 with a run differential of 30.
- 12u D2- De Soto Blackcats went 4-0-1 with a run differential of 21.
- 12u D3- Classics went 4-0 with a run diffferential of 21.
- 13u D3- Line Drive went 4-0 with a run differential of 24.
- 13u D1/D2- KC Crush Black 13u went 4-0 with a run differential of 27.
- 14u D1- Old School Ducks Maher went 3-1 with a run differential of 15.
- 14u D2- Extreme Elite 14u National went 4-1 with a run differential of 19.
- 14u D3- Topeka Vikings went 4-0 with a runn differential of 14.

KC Crush Black: From Olathe, KS, the Crush have enjoyed a successful spring at Prep Baseball KC events so far with an overall record of 11-7-1 and bringing home the Arrowhead Shootout Championship two weeks ago. The Crush's notable players include two-way standout Easton Vesey, Jaston Pringle, Tucker Hupp, and Blace Rodina.
Prime 27:17 National 14u: The Prime 27:17 program has been building into one of the premier clubs in KC since 2018, and the 14u National team has an exciting roster heading into high school next year. Some of their top players are Riley McEvoy, Landon Alderson, Elian Nunez, and Logan Hepner.
MN Blizzard 14u: One of the premier programs in Minnesota with over 60 draft picks since 2003, most notably Michael Busch for the Chicago Cubs. The Blizzard will also be coming back to KC this July for the Kansas City Program Invite, one of our top events of the summer. Some key players are Vincent Cognetta, Baylor Brown, and Brandon Her.
SOX Baseball 14u: SOX Baseball from Lee's Summit, MO, has been a regular at Prep Baseball KC events this spring and seems to always be in the championship race come Sunday. They won the Prep Baseball KC Classic to start the spring and then again on Easter, winning the Easter Bracket Buster. Overall, SOX Baseball 14u has a record of 13-6, and their top players include Brayden Williams, Landon Box, Myles McCray, Jayce Howell, and Preston Smith.

Iowa Prospects Black: Located at 515 Fieldhouse in Grimes, IA, the Prospects program is one of the top baseball and softball programs in Iowa. Some of their top players are Elliott O'Connor, Grant Mikkelsen, Max Roenfanz, and Jett Ary.
Old School Ducks Finlayson: Old School Ducks is one of the newer baseball clubs rising through the ranks in KC. Owned by Bubby and Dyllon Williams, they are located in Kansas City, MO, and call the Hit Factory KC home. Old School Ducks Finlayson has been to four of our Prep Baseball KC events and had their best showing at the KC Showdown, where they went 3-1 with a run differential of 9. Some of their best players are Easton Berry, Briggs Shipers, Gabe Loftis, and Ryker Graverson.
STL Klutch 13u: STL Klutch is the youth division of the Legacy Performance Academy in St. Louis, MO. As their players get closer to high school, they eventually graduate to the STL Legacy, which is one of the most talented programs in the Midwest. Coached by Joe Brand, Klutch's top players are Jack Rolfes, Ethan Bircher, and Seamus Miller.
Building Champions 13u Navy: Building Champions from Olathe, KS, is one of the biggest brands in KC Baseball. Known for their national high school teams and their countless professionals that you can find training at Homefield in the offseasons, BC Navy 13u's top players are Easton Weishaar, Spencer Baum, Jett Gratopp, Brody Thomas, and Carson Delp.
