Each week during the high school season, we will be announcing the Prep Baseball KS Player of the Week. We will rely on submissions from high school coaches and others by way of email ([email protected]) or DM on X (twitter). Nominations should include player name, grad year, position, and stat line. The Kansas High School Player of the Week will be released every Tuesday after noon. This week had the most nominations we have ever received with some of the most impressive numbers we have ever seen, making the selection a difficult process. We will cover all players nominated for player of the week in our Diamond Notes article that comes out on Wednesday's.

Beau Peterson 3B / RHP / Mill Valley, KS / 2026 Rankings  StateRank: 1 / POS: 1 OverallRank: 9 / POS: 1 Every week we get bombarded with player of the week nominations, normally spread out over a large number of players from across the state. This week, we saw more nominations for one player than any week in KS history.  The Texas commit helped lead his team to a 4-0 week going 10-for-15 (.667) with 3 2B, 2 HR, 6 RBI, and 6 SB.
