The number 7 LHP in Pennsylvania is uncommitted. Horwitz stands at a physical 5 '9 and 186 lbs. The hard throwing lefty has a whole arsenal that he can command and attack hitters with. His fastball has vertical carry through the strike zone, creating swings and misses in the upper quadrant. His curveball and slider have similar shape profiles but there is a slight velocity and movement difference. His breaking pitches have extremely late bite to them, these late movements make it hard for hitters to pull the trigger on the pitch. He throws a firm change-up that has slight fade and depth towards the bottom of the strike zone. Overall, Horwitz is a competitor on the mound that consistently gives his team a chance to win the ball game.
