Prep Baseball KC Youth World Series Tournament Preview

The Prep Baseball KC Youth World Series is officially underway in Kansas City! Starting on May 23 and running through May 26, this exciting tournament features 139 teams from 11 different states competing in one of the top youth baseball events in the Midwest. Designed to benefit players, parents, and coaches, the tournament guarantees at least 4 games per team, with pool play games leading into bracket play.
In addition to the two premier complexes, Creekside Baseball Park and Homefield Baseball Complex, the tournament also includes three more venues: Bonner Springs High School, Oak Park High School, and the University of Saint Mary. Creekside features 6 turf fields, batting cages, turf bullpens, and a full-service concession stand, while Homefield offers 8 brand new turfed diamonds, additional batting cages, turf bullpens, multiple concession stands, and easy access to shopping, hotels, and restaurants. Bonner Springs, Oak Park, and the University of Saint Mary provide even more high-quality fields and facilities for the tournament.
With all five venues combined and teams from across the midwest, this event is sure to offer an exceptional experience for players, coaches, and families alike.
Lets take a look at the 2024 Youth World Seires Champions:
- 9u Open- Spring Hill Outlaws went 3-1 with a run differential of 25.
- 10u D3- Barnstormers - Biery went 4-0 with a run differential of 28.
- 10u D1/D2- Rebels Baseball went 3-1 with a run differential of 39.
- 11u D1- Marek Baseball Academy went 4-1 with a run differential of 13.
- 11u D3- EA Prep - Eickman 11U went 4-1 with a run differential of 34.
- 12u D1- Chicago White Sox ACE 12u Houston went 5-0 with a run differential of 30.
- 12u D3- CE Black 12U went 4-1 with a run differential of 28.
- 13u D1- Prime Nationals 13U went 5-0 with a run differential of 34.
- 13u D2- Team KC - Jensen 13u and MBA Mavericks were co-champions.
- 13u D3- FOX SPORTS SOX YARNALL went 4-0 with a run differential of 30.
- 14u D1- KC Nationals - Meyer went 5-0-1 with a run differential of 28.
- 14u D2- SBA Sticks 2028 went 5-0 with a run differential of 21.

In this years Youth World Series we have 11 different states being represented throughout 12 different divisions. Lets take a look at some of the top teams in the 13 and 14u divisions.
14u
- US Nationals Midwestern KS: One of three US Nationals Midwestern teams in this years 14u divisions, KS has shown consistant success in Prep Baseball KC events this spring with an overal PBKC record of 16-8. They took home the Evolution Series Championship after going 5-0, one week after taking second in the Arrowhead Shootout with a record of 3-2. Some of their top players include Garrett Nimz, Hudson Evans, Lowen Larson, Kael Fisher, Larson Robinson and Kaiden Porta.
- Prime Nationals 14u: From Elkhorn, NE have had big success in KC this spring taking home the PBKC Showdown Championship. That weekend they went a perfect 5-0 with a run differential of 32. Some of their top players include the #ShowdownMVP Brody Cook, Nolan Cooper, Kyler Shockey and Logan McMurtry.
- NE Prospects Hlavac and Wellwood 14U: One of the top academy's in Nebraska, the Prospects are bringing 3 of their teams. Hlavac and Wellwood will be two teams to watch out for this weekend.
- Iowa Sticks Red 14u: Red, one of two teams from the Iowa Sticks program, has a 15-6 record this spring. The roster includes several players from the Iowa Rising Stars Showcase in February: Beckett Immel, Henry Kelly, Bo Rypma, Brooks Anderson, Bode Ferrell, Tripp Rypma, and Boston Anderson.
- KC Crush Black 14u: A PBKC regular, KC Crush has seen success at our events this spring with a record of 13-9-1 including the Arrowhead Shootout championship. Some of their top players are #ShootoutMVP Easton Vesey, Bijan Kamerzell, Jastin Pringle, Tucker Hupp, Brady Hays and Blace Rodina.
13u
- Texas Generals 13u National: From Allen, TX the Generals have an overall record of 25-4 this spring. Some of their top players include Aiden Reddick, Garrett Lester, Caymen Stowers, Blake Huffman and Ryder Gracy.
- Iowa Sticks 2030: The 13u Iowa Sticks representative from West Des Moines comes into the PBKC Youth World Series with an overall spring record of 10-6-1. Some top players include Braylan Brown, Eli Stimpson, Carter Huff, Brayden Beinke and Paxton Pross.
- 13u Prime 27:17 National: One of the top 13u teams from our area comes into this event with a PBKC record of 15-8-1 and a KC Showdown Championship. Some of their top players include an LJ's Lineup regulars Lorin Sapp and Graham Robertson, as well as Greyson Wilson, Drake Bush and Cooper Kennedy.
- BOA 2030 McGavic: Brand of Athletes 2030 McGavic from Elgin, OK has a spring record of 17-6-3. Some top players are Tanner Ruiz, Amar'e Johnson, Zach Martinez and Hunter Rule.
