Each week throughout the high school season, we will announce the Prep Baseball Washington Pitcher and Hitter of the Week, recognizing standout performances from across the state. With numerous players excelling both at the plate and on the mound, this award will be based on nominations submitted through our POTW Google Form.
Additionally, we will continue our Washington Diamond Notes to highlight other deserving players nominated by coaches who were not selected as the Pitcher or Hitter of the Week.

Cahill earns Hitter of the Week honors for week 9 of Washington HS action after a huge pair of games, going 6-8 with 2 home runs. The senior posted 4 runs and 9 RBI, including 8 RBI in one game, in his huge week. The Washington commit was most recently seen at PNW Preseason All-State last winter. |
