The Tallahassee Summer ID took place on Tuesday, May 27, at Tallahassee State College in Tallahassee, FL. The event featured players from the 2026-2029 classes participating in a pro-style workout, followed by bullpens in front of the Prep Baseball Florida Scouting Staff.

Cameron Dust OF / OF / Lawton Chiles High School, FL / 2026Dust has a lot of projection in a lean 6'3", 169 lb frame. 7.06 runner and led the event with the highest vertical jump of 25.4 inches. 95.2 max EV.

Ty Gray SS / 3B / Chipley High School, FL / 2026A 2024 Future Gamer, Gray has added strength to his frame, now standing 6'3", 174.2 lbs. Sprayed gap to gap in BP at an average EV of 91 mph, topping 99.3. Above average arm at 87 across the infield. He also had one of the highest grip strengths at the event (157).

Joseph Jensen 1B / 3B / Lincoln , FL / 2027Jensen showcases power potential driving the pull-side gap in bp with a max EV of 97.2 mph. Physical corner infield profile with a chance for power at the next level.

Bennett Malone C / Lincoln, FL / 2028A former Junior Future Gamer has added strength, and his body has started to mature. Advanced behind the plate, the bat has continued to progress from the left side. Max EV of 88.1.

Bryant Mathis C / 3B / Holmes County High School, FL / 2027Interesting catcher prospect with a physical profile behind the plate. 95.5 max EV and 72.4 average bat speed. 2.00 pop time.

Jayson Parker 1B / RHP / Lincoln, FL / 2027Parker was a big winner at the Tallahassee Summer ID. 6'4" 218 lbs. Multiple homeruns in BP, averaging 94.6 EV with a max of 103. 73.7 average bat speed, 6.87 60, and 24.3 inch vertical. Parker showcased his arm strength up to 90 mph from 1B.

Landon Phillips 1B / LHP / Wakulla High School, FL / 2028Phillips showed tools at the plate. 95.7 max EV. 151 lb grip strength. Interesting prospect heading into his sophomore year.

Nathan Whitney OF / LHP / South Walton High School, FL / 2026Whitney is an athletic, uncommitted player to keep eyes on. 6.87 runner. Drove the gaps at a 92.8 average EV, 97.5 max. Led the event with a 2.06 RSI.

Kendall Wimes SS / RHP / Wakulla High School, FL / 2028Wimes showed tools on both sides of the ball in Tallahassee. 72.4 mph average bat speed. 95.5 max EV. 83 mph across the infield from short. Then hopped on the mound and was up to 85 mph with his fastball.
