Glendale Summer ID: Positional Data Dive

This past Sunday, the Prep Baseball Arizona staff hosted it's first of two Summer ID events with the Glendale Summer ID hosted at Apollo High School in Glendale, Arizona.

This event featured roughly 18 prospects in the 2026–2028 classes and provided a valuable opportunity for young athletes to get quality reps in a structured setting and compete in front of our staff. Players also received video footage and verified stats added to their profiles, giving them a head start in building their recruiting presence. Summer ID's also serve as key identifiers for Arizona’s Junior Future Games Team, which will head to LakePoint Sports in late July to take on top talent from across the country.

All players ran through a full workout that included batting practice and bullpens captured on our TrackMan, as well as the 60-yard dash (and splits) captured by VALD Performance and positional drills including velocities. Over the next several days we'll be highlighting top performers from the event within our post-event analysis. Stay locked into our social media channels over the next several days as we continue to push out video, leaderboards and more.

Yesterday, we released our Statistical Data Analysis, highlighting some of the top overall performances from the event. Today, we take a deeper look in this Positional Data Dive, where we break down the data by position and present leaderboards from TrackMan Hitting, VALD Performance, and 60-yard dash times.
