Chicago Preseason ID: Outfielder Analysis

Prep Baseball Illinois Staff

On Saturday, February 22nd, the Prep Baseball Illinois staff traveled to Chicago, IL for the Chicago Preseason ID held at the Pullman Community Center. This event is a great opportunity for our staff to get a look at players from the area.

OF Marcus Wolfe (University of Chicago Laboratory Schools, 2025) is an uncommitted name from the event that put up some loud TrackMan numbers (98.9 mph max EV/89.5 mph avg. EV).

OF Bryce Gilmore (Homewood-Flossmoor, 2027) is an underclassman that swung it well at the event with a handsy swing, utilizing the middle of the field repeatedly, while reaching a max exit velocity of 85 mph (80.3 avg.)
