Puyallup Regional
#1 Puyallup vs. #16 Moses Lake
#8 Lake Stevens vs. #9 Camas
Puyallup enters the state tournament a perfect 26-0 and the 8th ranked team in the country, per Prep Baseball's rankings. They will be looked upon as the clear favorite to win their first state title since 2017. The Vikings are led by Oregon State commit Mason Pike, a dynamic player on the mound and in the middle of the order. Shortstop Brayden Landry is the second-ranked 2027 in the state, while seniors Gage Thompson, Riley Sanoy, and Kyler Malnar have all had big seasons offensively. Top-ranked freshman Madden Pike may also be called upon to pitch big innings down the stretch. Puyallup will face 16 seed Moses Lake, who defeated Eastmont to move to 13-8 on the season and secure their spot in state. The Mavericks feature some young talent in the middle of the order, including sophomore power bat Jacoby Fulbright and freshman Johnathan Purcell. Lake Stevens and Camas are two intruiging middle seeds. Lake Stevens won 7 of their last 8 games leading into the state tournament. Grand Canyon commit Aspen Alexander leads the way offensively, while sophomore Blake Moser had one of the best performances of the spring recently, running his FB into the low 90's in relief and hitting a towering HR at the plate. Junior arm Emmanuel McLaurin is a funky lefty that can really be a difference maker if locked in. Camas features talent at the top, including Davidson commit Matthew Manjooran, junior Cade Lukens, and senior Anthony Forner. Plenty of talent will be on display in this regional at Heritage Recreation Center this weekend.

Kamiakin Regional
#2 Kamiakin vs. #15 Olympia
#7 North Creek vs. #10 Jackson
Kamiakin has nearly been the wire-to-wire number two ranked team in our Power 25 this spring. They finish 22-1 heading into state and feature plenty of depth and talent. Seniors Tommy Lamb and Trent Woodhouse provide experience near the top of the lineup. Junior Gonzaga commit Zach Vega has thrown the ball great on the mound this spring, while senior Zach Swanson is a high-octane relief option. They'll face an Olympia side that has played much better ball in the latter half of their season. The Bears are led by seniors Lincoln Berg and Trace Pruitt. Sophomore Peyton Crass impressed on the mound recently and is an arm to circle. North Creek earned the top seed in their districe playoffs before losing to Jackson in recent weeks. The Jaguars are led by two-way player Cayden Christopherson, while RHP's Jack Cochran and Dominic Wilson should see action as well. North Creek will look to return to the state semi's after taking 4th place in 2024. Jackson finished the year 18-7 and has some potent bats, including senior Hawkeye Delgado. Ashton Bergman has been steady atop the lineup, while Austin Halvorson has shown flashes as a sophomore. Three western Washington teams will travel to LaPierre field in a great set of matchups.

Eastlake Regional
#3 Eastlake vs. #14 Curtis
#6 Sumner vs. #11 Issaquah
Pitching should be the theme in this regional, as four teams with legitimate shots to advance to Yakima will face off in Sammamish. Eastlake earned the #3 seed after rolling to a district championship. LHP Rodrigo Montano and RHP Cody O'Donnell should be key arms. The lineup features contributions top-to-bottom, with Thomas Wood, Larson Kohlmann, and Noah Koong leading the way. The Wolves will face a 17-8 Curtis side that has relied heavily on their pitching this spring. RHP Cooper Hordyk has been dominant at times, and LHP Bradley Dinelt has racked up a ton of strikeouts this season. Riley Angelo and Joe Giles are bats to watch as well. 6 seeded Sumner has rolled through the back half of their season apart from a pair of losses to Puyallup. Sophomore Wyatt Plyler is a difference maker on the mound and at the plate when right. Xander Cypher is another two-way talent, while Jake Miller, Bryce Carl, and Cameron Westerdahl are all underclassman who can contribute. Sumner will face a tough matchup in #11 Issaquah. The Eagles will lean on Oregon commit Hudson Carvalho on the mound, one of the best remaining arms in the state tournament. Senior Jacob Swanson has a ton of power at the plate, while sophomore Seika Saito is another bat near the top.

West Valley Regional
#4 West Valley vs. #13 Lake Washington
#5 Richland vs. #12 Kennedy Catholic
West Valley quietly finished 20-2 and has secured a host seed after winning a remarkable 20 straight games. Sophomore arm Rhyse Elder can really spin it and has been lockdown recently. A great lineup with depth includes upperclassman Brandt Kneisler, Alex Morales, and Colby Graham. The Rams hope to come out of this regional to secure what would essentially be a home game in the state semi's. West Valley faces a tough opening draw in Lake Washington. The Kangs are led by senior LHP and Oregon commit Shane Johnson on the mound. Seniors Boden Reeve and Brady O'Cain have swung it well at points this spring, while Noah Kwon and Gonzaga commit Will Cooley provide plus athleticism. Richland vs. Kennedy Catholic is a great 5/12 matchup. Richland returns to the state tournament after winning it all last season. RHP/1B Michael Revell is an impact player on both sides of the ball and a top ten ranked player in the Washington 2026 class. Upperclassman Hayden Galloway and Carter Upmeyer provide championship experience in the middle of the order. Kennedy Catholic are 15-8 to this point but feature plenty of talent. Juniors Dante Saladino and Harvey Lieberman have eaten a ton of quality innings on the mound. Catcher Ka'ipo Matsushima and Washington commit Will Cahill are impact bats. This regional may be as wide open as any, with all four teams having a real chance to come out of the group.
