The week nine VA/DC Player of the Week goes to senior Benjamin Cardone from the Highland School. It was a exclamation mark that Cardone put on his senior season when a phenomenal VISAA tournament showing. He had six hits in the tournament including two homeruns in the championsip game. He was one of the toughest outs in the tournament when he stepped up to the plate. He was aggressive and caught barrel after barrel. It was good to see the future Keydet be a huge contributor to the Hawks state title.
