Our final 'Player of the Week' is announced as the playoff season begins and all records return to 0-0. Before we get into the long road to Victory Field, we wanted to give recognition to strong performers from the last week of the regular season.

Sean Dunlap C / OF / Crown Point, IN / 2026+ Dunlap saved his best week statistically for the final week of the regular season, fresh off a jump in the national rankings that landed him as the top-ranked catcher in the country for the 2026 class as we near the summer circuit season. Last week, the Tennessee recruit went 8-for-11 for No. 3 Crown Point, clubbing a double and (2) homers, while collecting (12) RBI and (7) runs scored. |
Honorable Mentions
Dillon Stewart, RHP, 2025, Tri-Township
+ The Quincy recruit came off injury to rack up (19) strikeouts in his first game at full health of the spring. In total, he worked 6.2 IP, allowing just (1) hit and (2) ER in a big swing-and-miss performance.
Isaac Flamino, LHP, 2025, Kokomo
+ A testament to consistency, Flamino has been recognized several times in his senior campaign and appears yet again. His final regular season performance of his high school career ended in another complete game shutout win, where Flamino punched (11), and allowed (0) free passes on top of scattering (7) hits. The Southeastern CC recruit also added a pair of doubles for Kokomo last week.
Nate Howard, RHP, 2025, Mt. Vernon
+ The Oakland City recruit had a memorable final week of his regular season career, collecting a pair of wins for Mt. Vernon on the bump. Across two appearances, Howard racked up (17) punchouts in (12) innings pitched, allowing just (2) earned runs and (0) walks.
Grady Nelson, OF, 2027, Warsaw
+ Nelson went on an offensive tear in May and it culminated in an uber-productive final week of the regular season. The highly-touted sophomore slugger clubbed (3) homers during the final week of regular season play, adding (11) RBI to shine a light on his run-producing abilities.
