AR Top Prospect Games Upperclass Roster Preview: Part One

Prep Baseball Arkansas Staff

As we gear up for one of our top invite-only events of the year, the Arkansas Top Prospect Upperclass Games, we will begin breaking down our notes on each of the prospects who will be in attendance. This year, the Upperclass Games will see many of the state’s top athletes from the 2026 and 2027 classes compete, giving them an opportunity to be seen by numerous college coaches during an open-contact period of recruitment. This year’s event will be held on June 11th at the University of Central Arkansas.

Grant Alderson RHP / Fayetteville, AR / 2027

Alderson has a lean, projectable frame with plenty of ability to add strength as he develops physically. In our last look at him at Preseason All State, he showcased a four-pitch mix, with a mid 80s fastball, a changeup, a curve, and a slider, showing a feel for all four offerings.

Kameron Davis OF / RHP / Jonesboro, AR / 2027

We got our first look at Davis last February, where he showed off plus athleticism. He displayed excellent speed, running a 6.67 second 60 yard dash. Defensively, he saw his velocity from the outfield top at 83 mph. At the plate, he showed an ability to catch barrels consistently and maxed out on exit velocity at 88.8 mph.

Ace DeWese LHP / OF / Pulaski Academy, AR / 2026

Physically, DeWese has been able to add strength, but still has room to add more mass to a lean frame. The lefty uses a long, strong arm action from a 3/4 arm slot. He has been up to 85 mph with the fastball, and has shown good command of a slider and changeup.

Luke Edwards 1B / 3B / Pulaski Academy, AR / 2027

Standing at 6'4 215 lbs, Edwards has a tall frame with lots of physical potential as he continues to develop. Hitting from the left side, he has shown to have power, running his exit velocity numbers up to 99.7 mph in our last viewing of him. Defensively, he uses athletic, calculated movements, with infield velos in the upper 70s throwing across the diamond.

Parker Ellis OF / Southside (Fort Smith), AR / 2026

Ellis has an athletic build, and will look to continue to add strength over the offseason. The LHH uses a long, flat bat path through the zone, and has shown an ability to barrel balls up. His exit velocity has peaked at 89.1 mph in our viewing of him. Defensively, he has produced velos in teh upper 70s throwing from the outfield.

Cayden Elmore RHP / RHP / Benton, AR / 2026

This will be our first look at Elmore in just under a year, but in our last viewing the right-hander showcased a four-pitch mix on the mound. Pitching from a high 3/4 arm slot, he displayed good command of a low 80s fastball, as well as both a true 12/6 curve and a more right/left breaking slider, with a changeup to round out the arsenal.

Rome Foster SS / 2B / Pulaski Academy, AR / 2026

The Pulaski Academy middle infielder doesn't have the largest frame, coming in at just 5'8 149 lbs, but has proven able to play a physical game with enough athleticism to make up for it. A switch-hitter, Foster uses a short and slightly uphill bat path to consistently find barrels. Defensively, he uses confident, athletic actions, and has been gunned in the mid 70s across the diamond.

Jonah Fuller SS / RHP / Maumelle Charter, AR / 2027

This will be our first look at Fuller since last summer, so we will look to see some added strength to a long, lean frame since our last viewing. At the plate, the right hander produced exit velos around 80 mph. On the mound, Fuller uses a three-pitch mix, with a fastball as well as a changeup and curveball as offspeed offerings.

Bentley Gigerich LHP / 1B / Cutter Moring Star, AR / 2027

Gigerich has a sturdy, physical frame, measuring in at 6'2 195 lbs. At the plate, he uses a short flat path through the zone with an uphill finish. Hitting from the left side, he has seen exit velos up to 88.1 mph. On the mound, he features a four-pitch arsenal, sitting in the upper 70s from the left side with his fastball, and offering a changeup, curveball, and slider as offspeed pitches.

Jayden Green OF / RHP / Cabot, AR / 2026

Green has an athletic build with room to continue to add stregth as he develops physically. He has showcased nice power at the plate, with exit velos nearing triple digits in our last look at him. Defensively, he's produced velos up to 86 mph throwing from the outfield.
