*Max Germaine, 2027 C, Mountain View HS, Uncommitted
Max continues to rise as a follow in the '27 class. Flashes quick hands, tall posture, and emerging strength in the box. Behind the dish he is athletic and has quick feet/hands during throwdowns. Displays signs of leadership and growth in the catcher role. Possibly could see him transition to OF in the future.

Game 2 Player Notes:
(No.1) Corona del Sol vs. (No.8) Sandra Day O'Connor
*Ben Jacobus, 2028 OF, Corona del Sol HS, Uncommitted
Jacobus continues to establish himself as one of the top follows in Arizona’s 2028 class. Went 3-4 with a pair of RBIs and showed mature at bats, often going deep into counts and shortening up with two strikes to find his way on base (even drag bunted down 1B line for one of his hits). Aggressive, high baseball IQ player who takes the extra 90ft, an impact presence in the lineup.

*Conor Rae, 2027 SS/OF, Corona del Sol HS, Uncommitted
Athletic, wiry profile with balanced actions and contact skills make him a threat at the plate and a follow in the 2027 class. Smart and aggressive on the bases who is always looking to take an additional 90ft. Brings defensive versatility with smooth hands and quick feet in the INF as well as good reads and agility in the OF. Rae contributed early with a sacrifice fly to get the Aztecs on the board, then followed up with an RBI single in the second in this playoff game.

Long is a follow from the 2027 class as he continues to trend upward. His compact swing combined with feel for the barrel allows him to stay in the zone for a long time, improving his chances for success. Quiet competitor who stays engaged in every at bat and projects as a steady run producer. Long continues to trend up with a quality two strike approach, driving a double down the right field line to spark the Aztec offense.
