MHSAA Class 7A-1A State Championship Preview

The MHSAA State Championships are finally here as teams have had their eyes on Trustmark Park since early February. The Class 7A-1A State Championships are set to begin on Tuesday, May 20th and will continue through Saturday May 24th.
Today we are going to highlight the programs who are representing their respective classification and give every detail that has led them up to this point in their 2025 campaigns.
CLASS 7A
Madison Central Jaguars 
Record: 25-7
Head Coach: Patrick Robley
Path to Pearl: Series wins over Desoto Central, Oxford and Tupelo
Brandon Bulldogs 
Record: 23-12 (Defending 7A State Champions)
Head Coach: Daniel Best
Path to Pearl: Series wins over St. Martin, Ocean Springs and Oak Grove
