MONDAY, April 28th

+ LHP Joseph Taylor (White House, 2025) A senior left-hander from White House High School, made a big statement in a recent outing — proving that command, pitchability, and poise can dominate just as much as raw velocity. The uncommitted 2025 prospect went 5 strong innings, giving up just one hit while striking out nine and walking none, completely stifling the opposing lineup. With a fastball sitting in the 82–85 mph range and a mature three-pitch mix, Taylor continues to prove he can compete and generate outs consistently at a high level. While not overpowering, the pitch features subtle arm-side life and is delivered with consistent mechanics and tempo. The slider was his go to secondary weapon and showed depth and sweep, especially effective against left-handed hitters. Consistently worked ahead in counts, Induced soft contact and controlled tempo of the game, Efficient with pitch count and rarely found himself in trouble. Showed ability to pitch to contact when needed, while also missing bats with three different offerings, and should be a target for junior college programs still looking to add quality arms late in the recruiting cycle.
