Prep Baseball KC Slugfest Weekend Review

After four action-packed days from May 29th through June 1st, the Prep Baseball KC Slugfest has officially come to a close. With 134 teams from eight different states competing fiercely on the diamond, the level of talent and competition was nothing short of impressive. Fans and players alike witnessed unforgettable moments, culminating in the crowning of this year’s champions on Sunday, June 1st.
Lets take a look at our champions and MVPs:
- 14u- Leawood Thunder went 5-1 with a run differential of 27. My #SlugfestMVP: #3 Teddy Lubin.
- 15u- Veteran Bat 2028 went 7-0 with a run differential of 45. My #slugfestMVP: #33 Dallin Pratt.
- 16u- Omaha JR. BlueJays went 7-0 with a run differential of 39. My #SlugfestMVP: #6 Ty Aguilar.
- 17/18u- Carpet Land (Lincoln East) Rugs went 7-0 with a run differential of 57. My #SlugfestMVP: #6 Brodie McIntire.
